First time trying this place while waiting for our table at another restaurant. We ordered 1 each from the menu except the... sweet. It was delicious! I love the salsa and the oil sauce that you can grab. It taste so good with it. I like how don't feelheavy after eating it. I would definitely come back the next time I'm in tahoe. FIVE STARS - HANDS DOWN SOME OF THE BEST FOOD IVE EVER HAD The staff there was so kind and welcoming and nice, and food was... DIVINE. We had the beef and chicken empanadas and they were both equally delicious. They were warm and crispy. Filled withperfectly cooked meat and veggies and the Chimichurri sauce put it over the TOP. 10/10 would recommend this place, greatservice, amazing atmosphere, and INCREDIBLE FOOD!!!! Read more
We loved this place so much, that we went back the next day for round two. On our first trip we were greeted by the Mrs owner.... She was so helpful, patient and kind. Very easy to talk to. We ordered the breakfast special, Henhouse, Hammer, Popeye andNamaste. It was a nice touch to have the order of selection, written on top of the box accordingly. Absolute perfection. Thisevening, we called our order in. Same great perfection.. Only correction I might make is to be consistent with marking the boxeswith the order they are in. It was a fun game of guessing (it really was - we don't find enough time to laugh, coming out ofCovid dog) and we appreciated the additional empanada! So these empanadas are tasty, but 1 each isn?t filling enough????. I wish they were slightly bigger for the price. But, yes, a... GREAT snack and friendly service. Try it once for sure. My wife came across this place searching for empanadas and we decided to give it a go. We ordered popeye and corn fed empanadas... and they were simply amazing in taste, loved the flavors. The person at the front desk taking our order was extremely kind, hecommunicated to us clearly that it will take 20-25 mins as they make it fresh which is really good. So fricking good. We got one of each to try all the flavors. They have 7 options and if you get 6 you get the 7th free for $30!... Each one was absolutely delicious. They imprint their name and a letter to tell you which empanada is which. The sides sauceswere also amazing! The staff was friendly. I have no criticisms to make. The spicy isn?t insane but enough to remind you. Not over powering the flavors either. The beef was darn good. And they had... these cute imprints calling out the type and their name. Would have had a better photo but we consumed these. Take phototomorrow. Read more
I wish I would have come sooner. Empanash is absolutely phenomenal. Owner is super kind and the sauces are amazing. I?ve tried... all the Carne items and am still not sure which I like best.
