It's so delightful to find a gem like Evans in Lake Tahoe! Quaint, small and DELICOUS!!! I haven't been to Tahoe in years, but... having dinner here was one o the high lights of my trip. I had the special Halibut with wild rice & veggies, butter salad first,served with freshly baked sour dough. As a chef treat, duck liver pate with crustinis served. My friends ordered the Duck andPork chop dinners nothing was left on their plates! Desert, housemade Rasberry ice cream, Choc creme brulé with berries servedwith a raspberry sauce Reservations are a must, so plan ahead. Read more

Evan?s is def in my top 10 restaurants ever. Maybe because I had my last minute covid elopement dinner here so it has a special... place in my heart. But every time we eat here, everything is amazing. This is the spot for a special occasion dinner. It?s asmall place so it never crowded and loud making the ambience perfect. The service and staff are amazing. We have dined inseveral times and have ordered for take out. Even the take out was great! Their lobster cheesecake appetizer is next level. Best restaurant in Tahoe, but don't share bc I don't want it to get to crowded ???? as it is located in a small house right next... to the main highway. Owners and staff are super wonderful. Menu items plus daily specials. Reservations only and don't wait forthe last minute to call or you might be looking for another place to dine. Read more
We reserved a table at Evans for our Elopement night dinner. It is a beautiful quaint restaurant where people go to celebrate.... The ambiance was great not too loud, tables were distant enough for privacy but close enough you could have a conversation withother guests (which we did multiple times throughout our meal) The wine was fairly priced and the service was spot on. If youwant great food look no further. This was definitely the best part about this perfect restaurant. Perfectly cooked, the righttemperature and a great blend of flavors. When my new Bride and I drove to the edge of town and walked into this restaurant I had no doubt that this was the best in all... of Tahoe. The service was superb, the food delivery was amazing and the food itself was magical. I've ate at the top restaurantsin town but this beats them all hands down. I will be back to rave once again.
