Vegetarian and Vegan options are great! Service was quick and the servers were friendly and helpful with recommendations from... the menu. Found this place on Google and we were not disappointed! From the minute you walk into this little gem you are greeted by super... friendly staff. Our waitress Talia was the best! We asked for recommendations and she was very helpful. We ordered the calamariappetizer and noodle soup and Spicy Thai noodle bowl! Everything was so good and fresh! I did not know what to expect from the description google maps provided, but the food at Freshies is amazing! The Country Style... Pork Spare Ribs had a great bbq sauce with a hint of sesame. Definitely worth getting! We also got the thai red curry, which waswonderfully balanced. Read more

Not your traditional Hawaiian food, but... We ordered Freshies island plate with Kahlua pork and another with grilled Jamaican... spices, sides were edamame, and a half size of My Tri Fries (mix of yam, sweet potatoes, and russet potatoes with Jamaican jerkspices). The mac salad has more liquid than expected, but was still delicious! My favorite was the Jamaican jerk spices on theshrimp and fries! First time to South Lake Tahoe and this was the first place I ate. It was within walking distance of my hotel but also already... had great reviews so though I'd try it out.. I'm glad I did.
