This place was excellent!! We went on a Thursday sound 10:30 and it was easy to get a table for our table of 7. It is a small... place so I could see the wait being a while had we gone later or if it was a weekend. The service was awesome! Our waiter, who Ibelieve was the only actually waiter there was so attentive and kind. There was other staff members helping but he seemed to bethe one taking all the orders. There was a young man there helping bring food and clear tables and seat people and he was kindand helpful as well. Everyone there was very friendly and attentive to our needs with all our kids. The food was delicious!!Fresh and large portions. We will definitely return there when we visit Tahoe again! Read more

Saturday brunch just hit the spot here... The food, the servers, the price... Omg I wish I could just live in Tahoe for this.... Everything was delightful and it's exactly why I come to breakfast diners. The food was so comforting and everything was justright. The staff so friendly and friendly I felt like I was a regular. Ate here on our way out of town from a company retreat, on a Sunday morning. Probably the best meal i had all weekend. Nice... quaint place. Staff were all friendly. No waiting, but we did best the morning rush. (If this were in my home town, therewould be an hour wait ). Would have been 5 stars if they had pepper plant, or if pancakes a bit fluffier. I like to eat here occasionally. My regular order is the usual special or simply some biscuits or gravy. On this order however I... was feeling a little bit extra hungry and I asked for an extra cornbread biscuit. What day instead decided to put on my checkwas a cornbread waffle. And the ticket price on the cornbread waffle that I was charged was $12.50. when I asked for thecornbread biscuit I figured the upcharge would only be a few dollars, the waffle was not even made out of cornbread, it wasinsanely thin and not very good. The food here is ok. The pancakes are fluffy, the French toast is generous and tasty. I even liked the coffee. The service left... a lot to be desired. Everyone was really nice, but they were busy and we elected to sit outside on a gorgeous day. The hostesssat us and brought us our coffee quickly. Everything went downhill from there. They were late in taking our order, they werelate in bringing our food, but they were quick to bring us our bill. I wasn't impressed by the food or the service.
