Okay let's keep in mind that this is the waffle house and not Carlo and Johnny.. that said the staff here could not be nicer.... Just 2 people and a full house and they didn't miss a beat. Quick orders, food up correctly, served hot... they wereterrific. Simply has a waffle which was consistent, hash browns were great. Definitely going back want to try the pattymelt. Read more
Me and my girlfriend do not go out and sit and eat anywhere very often. I am a fan of Waffle House and she is slowly becoming... one even though in the three years we have been together we have probably only been three times. One time we went it was kind ofdirty because of lack of help and it turned her off for going in there for a long time. We went to this one not long ago and thefood was awesome. The service was great and for a sit-down place to eat nowadays it isn't really that pricey. I have fondmemories of the Waffle House when I was younger and I like to go there with my daughter when we can. I have been in waffle house on 48, I sat for 30 minutes no one clean one seat at the counter. Not one stop was clean! Waiting... for a place which there was a lot of customers waiting. They would call for next when table clean. After about 45 minutes ofwaiting as we are now next they allow someone walk in and take our table. He has now order eat and now leaving. We took thenext dirty table asked young curly hair to clean the table he told us he would,but he didn't. Asked another lady no luck again.Asked for young man's name told now by third waitress doesn't no coworker name. This is the worst place and the rules people Ihave ever dealt with. Read more
We were greeted upon entering but sat for at least 5 minutes before anyone came to the table. There was only 1 other person in... the dining room, so not at all busy. Overheard 1 server ask the other, "are you going to take that table?" To which the otherserver said "no" ... she eventually came over a few minutes later & was very unpleasant the whole meal. Didn't speak anotherword after "do you know what you want to eat?" The place was pretty dirty. All employees were just standing around talking &having inappropriate conversations in front of customers. The food was ok but they were out of some items. Just all around not agreat experience. Went in at 11:00pm on Thanksgiving and not many people in the restaurant. The server was nice and polite. I sat at the bar with... my boyfriend and his nephew. When sitting there a server told the cook something and the cook was rude when replying to theserver. The cook kept turning around and staring at my boyfriend, his nephew and I. When our server told the cook our order theseemed very irritated. The cook did not make my hash browns correctly. I asked for no oil with them and they were oily and stillraw. My boyfriends nephew got over well eggs and the yolk in the eggs were still runny not even cooked. I will not go back infor 3rd shift when this cook is there. Read more
