Fantastic dinner with fantastic friends My fraternity brother is now a Vermont local and spoke highly of SoLo and arranged for... our reunion party of six to dine at one of their Thursday evening five course dinners. WOW is all I can say. Service -fantastic Wine - fantastic Ambiance - fantastic Food - everyone was served the same courses and each course differentiated ina delightful progression that was music to the taste buds. The pasta course was superb as was the duck breast - well ...everything was superb. The fixed menu price is expensive but the dining experience is worth it. Highly recommended. Read more

I am not exaggerating by saying that this is my all-time favorite restaurant. There are absolutely no details that are... overlooked during the preparation, presentation, and service of the SoLo's food creations. We savored every single bite - fromthe home made butter and freshly baked rolls - to complex entrées and scrumptious desserts. Where else have you had yourcarefully selected fresh oysters served with a fried-onion granita that you could simply eat with a spoon? Bacon-wrapped rabbitloin served on celeriac coffee-infused logs, accompanied by celery puree - "clogs" was not only one of the most tender andflavorful dishes, but also looked like an art work piece. Their homemade cucumber-habanero-mint sorbet seemed to have beendesigned by someone who could precisely time the flavor release of each ingredient in one's mouth....nothing short of amazing! Adinner at SoLo's is a MUST for anyone who can appreciate the state-of-the-art food. Bravo!!! Read more

The appetizers we're the best part of our meal. Each of them was creative and delicious. The mains we're good, but not nearly up... to par for the price charged. The desert was good, but the Panna Cotta we ordered was definitely not as advertised. If you're upby Stratton, give this place a try but don't have astronomical expectations. Read more

This place was a really pleasant surprise. The food was outstanding, both in flavor and presentation. All the ingredients were... extremely fresh and flavorful and the squid had a really nice Smokey flavor which I didn?t expect. Our waiter (Troy) was veryknowledgeable and professional. He was also very attentive and I felt like he wasn?t rushed which was nice. The overall ambiencewas very warm and I felt like we were at a friends house for dinner. Overall great experience!!
