Love this place. From the time we entered the door we were welcomed Our sever was outstanding. He knows the menu and suggested ... the ribs. I had ribs and devil eggs which was delicious. The ribs were so tender you could use your fork. The were verytasteful. The eggs were outstanding OMG. My daughter had the shrimp and grits which she absolutely loved. The drinks areexcellent. Overall good, but not great. For all the hype about their ribs and fried chicken the rib sauce was too thick and sweet, and the... fried chicken could have been more flavored. Great lunch or dinner spot in south Miami with nice decorations in the interior. Read more
Five stars are not enough! The ambience is so nice and the food is PERFECTION! We had the 2 brunch favorites smoke pork ribs and... super tender brine fried chicken, grits and waffles… ALL was DELICIOUS and the prices are fare! The place is beautiful, the service excellent. Allan was our waiter, he gave good recommendations and was very nice. To be honest, I was drawn to this establishment because of the building/architecture. I looked up The Yelp average reviews and... figured why not and drop in. I'm giving Root & Bone 3 stars based on price and speed of service. Our waiter was the only personworking the floor and was completely swamped. Not his fault and most businesses these days are understaffed. Service was goodotherwise. Price was a bit much as well. ANYWAYS. Let's end this review on a high note. I highly recommend "Grandma Daisy'sAngel Biscuits". Best biscuits I've ever had. Bar none. Didn't need any sort of sauce either. Made just right! I also had theINCREDIBLE "Root and Bone Cheeseburger", which consisted of brisket, a blend of chuck and short rib. Man I really did not wantto stop eating that burger. This restaurant is easily one of the best upscale type of restaurants I've been too in South Miami. Now let's just start with... the ambiance of this place and how beautiful the interior is. It makes you want to dress the part to dine here and that'ssomething I loved about it. Perfect for families or date nights. First time here and I have to honestly say I was very impressed. First, we made a reservation for a party 6 for my birthday but... needed to add more ppl at the last minute. Long story short I was told over the phone they could only make a reservation for 12and it was 15 of us so I was a little worried. When we arrived we explained the situation to the hostess and she got the managerinvolved and quickly accommodated for our party. Our server Gian Carlos was great! Very attentive and made some greatsuggestions! I had the Chicken and Waffles and it was very delicious and filling! All in all it was an amazing experience withfriends and family!
