I have been going to the Fox and Falcon since it opened a few years ago. I have known the owner, David, from his prior... restaurants in Jersey City and NYC that I used to frequent often. We love going to Fox and Falcon and the food is alwayssuperb. It has an atmosphere for everyone -- form the rustic dining room to the cozy Irish pub in the basement. We spent a lotof time here including during the pandemic when they had the outside seating, tents and heaters. Every time has been a greatexperience. The food is absolutely incredible and I love that they have some local ciders on the menu! This place is good tobring children as well! Looking forward to many more meals at The Fox + Falcon! One of our absolute favorite restaurants in South Orange, NJ! As former Brooklynite foodies, we hoped we would find a restaurant... that we could rely on as our go to for a nice night out with great food and drinks... The Fox & Falcon is it! The atmosphere isamazing, the service is outstanding and the food and cocktails are to die for (every single time). The owner, David is alwayswelcoming and does whatever he can to accommodate when he can. Gorgeous inside & out. Wood, brick, tin ceilings, fireplaces, trendy, classy, elegant upscale, great heated patios, multi... stories with room for parties. Innovative drinks. Summary: Classic pub with great drinks and knowledgeable staff. I visited this pub for the first time a few weeks back and I... honestly can't stop thinking about going back and trying more drinks and food. The good: 1) Friendly bar staff that know how tomake a drink. I can honestly say it has been quite a while since I've had a mix drink that was not watered down or completelyalcohol. Their cocktails are amazing. 2) The food is delicious and the service was pretty quick. 3) Nice laid back environment,perfect for a night out with friends with no overly loud music.
