This was my first time going to Village Pizza, the Pizza was good and the crust was just the way I requested, well done.
After reading several reviews I realize it is not just me. I've been ordering from this place for a little over 5 years. The... food used to be much better. I often would get a turkey and cheese sub from there that was really tasty. However, I would saythe last 5 to 6 times that I've gotten a sandwich I have not enjoyed it and today's was no better. It seems like asking for"little oil and vinegar" means nothing. And maybe that's their idea of a little, I don't know. But to me, the bread should notbe so saturated that it's actually soggy and mushy and pink from all of the vinegar. The pictures don't really show just howsoggy the bread was. The only reason I tried to tolerate the sandwich today was because I was hungry and I'd already spent themoney on it. I literally had to pull most of the middle out of the roll so my sandwich barely had bread. Just not a tastysandwich at all! Very disappointing. I definitely will never order a turkey and cheese sub from there again. With food pricesbeing what they are today, we can't afford to spend money on food and it's not enjoyable. Read more
They used to be really good. Very attentive staff. Eaten here 10 yrs or more. Owner really trust. Fast service. I avoid... negative reviews, unless I feel it feeds improvement. However, over the last 6-8 months, food has not been good. I now orderfrom Brooklyn Pizza ????., Irvington. Fast free delivery & good prices.. Read their Google reviews. Very satisfied. Read more
