I paid $30 for a $ 22 food on uber eats just not to go on the road. Legend messed up my order told me it's a mistake from the... kitchen and if I want I have take the food back. so I paid under eats and still ending up going to pick up the correct order.When I get there and talk to one of the employee she rolls her eyes on me and walked away. Legends franchise is all about the SAUCE! A good mix of Guyanese Chinese but lacks to authentic flavor compared to the other... Guyanese restaurants. I had the spicy Lamb and jerk chicken wings with fried rice. This was good but not excellent.Additionally, restaurant was empty on a Friday night and it took one hour to get food on top of the waitress making a mistake onour order. Service is terrible and kitchen takes forever to make food! They lack the grounds to be a successful restaurant.Should take note from Caribbean cabana and the next. Way better service and food! Should be a negative star. They USED to be very delicious. I bought a roast pork fried rice and a serving of fried chicken last... night. The pork had to be one week stale.. VERY DRY AND HARD (even a stray dog would refused that). The fried chicken was nodifferent. Lets not talk about the price. OVERCHARGED!! Read more
I went to this restaurant to dine in today and my experience was very unsatisfying. I used to order from here regularly during... the pandemic and my family has eaten food from here for years. I paid a visit for the first time in maybe a year and a half. Iordered shrimp and chicken fried rice with fried chicken and chicken lo mien. The rice was just okay and so was the fried wings.The lo mien was disgusting very mushy and it didn?t taste good at all. I give the food a 2/10 honestly. Very disappointing. Thetrue reason for my 1 star was because the server was very unprofessional. Body language speak more than anything. For one, whenI told her I didn?t like the lo mien she said I?m sorry you don?t like it she didn?t even reach for the plate to take it backinitially. Secondly she doesn?t actually have customer service skills. Her attitude read all over her face and in her eyes. Sheeven tried to get smart when separating the bill and still did it incorrectly. You need to teach your employees manner. As apaying customer I?m disgusted. But it?s all good and well. I wouldn?t ever eat from here again I?ll be going to my favorite spotKaieteur! The food was very delicious. I ordered escovitch fish with pineapple fried rice and the pepper shrimp with house special fried... rice. The house special fried rice was really really good. It was very delicious and I highly recommend. The fish was very tastyand I would order again. The meal wouldn't be complete without a tom boy lemonade. Read more
Update: Finally, Ive had the luxury and privilege of tasting this delicious restaurant's food. Pricey but worth every cent!! I... had their Jerk Chicken and House Special Fried Rice!! My Hubby had the BBQ chicken with Brown Rice, and my daughter had her ownserving of Fried chicken and House Special fried rice!! ???????????????? Okay, this is definitely one place I must say I amsaddened by the fact that I have not eaten there yet. I went to pick up some food there for delivery and the place smellsdelicious!!! ?????????? Not just that, the ambience is robust and full of people enjoying their lives while trying to enjoytheir meals at the same time. The place is also beautifully decorated??. I can only imagine The taste of the food at thismoment. But what I don't have to imagine is that people look really happy, not just to be working there, but to be there period.The gentleman that gave me the delivery was very friendly????. The put the tables Are decorated very beautifully as well. Theywere perfectly spaced out so that every guest will have ample space to move and ample space to stuff their bellies!! Thegentleman told me that the order wasn't quite ready. So I had to wait about two minutes, but I did not want to leave when hecame with the food. It's a good idea that if you work delivering food that you eat something before you start delivering. Food is decent here but the customer service is poor. Also, they often get the order wrong.
