Eating and drinking at Bar Louie is always a highlight whenever we visit South Padre and today was no exception! We started with... fried pickles, a wild berry margarita and a passion mule. I had the Cali Chicken Club and hubs had the Fish n Chips and DeepSouth Mac n Cheese. Everything was excellent and perfectly prepared. Gio was a great host, very attentive! The drinks are good the food is okay. I ordered a burger and it want the best. The meat and fries were not made fresh. Frozen... is cheaper but not better. I expected more since it looks fancy. Read more

Came to a convention with a friend and Samsung had a meet and greet here a bar Louie and they treated us to apps and drinks. ... This place is nice a cozy with dance floor which is very cool. Food and drinks were on point. I will definitely comeagain..Happy Health to all.... Read more

The food here is delicious. I?ve tried many dishes and have never been disappointed?always hot, fresh and flavorful. Clean,... spacious and comfortable seating, with a large bar, dance floor, several TV?s and access to beach and hotel interior. Iespecially like Sunday brunch (discounts for guests). Tuesday night?s are also special with a great live band & salsa dancing,as well as discounts on burgers (and 1/2 price on all entrees for locals). On the down-side, occasionally the service can beslow, and the discounts can be confusing. All in all a great place to dine. Read more
