Diluted cocktails ? Bummer. Great food with nice presentation plus pleasant staff and great ocean view. Went at midday on... Wednesday, 20 July, and when I mentioned that my cocktail was quite weak, they ?fixed it? (not really) then charged me for 2cocktails. So be aware, and ? if you must drink ? order beer by the bottle or red wine. Read more

If your a Chinese Communist Party face shackle enthusiasts, this isn't for you. This restaurant is small and cozy with mostly... outdoor seating with a full bar. This place has been here for a long time and is a popular breakfast/brunch location. It'sparticularly patronized with Winter Texans this time of year. Shorts with white socks.. Dead giveaway! The menu isstraightforward with offerings that can be found at other restaurants on the sandbar. The location is what sets it apart! Thefood is good and the portions are about right. One of the best meals we had in South Padre. It was lovely having breakfast while watching the ocean waves, and this place was... very accommodating to our dog as well. Fantastic views, excellent service, perfect views- can?t ask for anything more! Read more
Went here for breakfast. We had maybe a 30 or 45 minute wait but the food was absolutely worth it!! Best breakfast I've had and... the coffee drinks were so amazing. Reasonable prices and great service. Read more
Cafe on the Beach is easy to get to! Across the street from where we stayed. Good selection on the menu. I think our favorite... was combo basket oysters and red snapper. Also had wedge salad w/Mahi. Thought everything was priced accordingly, good serviceand definitely had a relaxing evening with a beach view. Read more
Loved this place. Wonderful view with wonderful people. And the food is so healthy. They use Olive Oil.
