An eclectic spot in Pasadena for a decadent brunch or a satisfying salad or a well presented fried chicken sandwich. Looking... past the sever placing a Shirley Temple cherry red fingerprint on the chicken sandwich plate, and who knows what it was, thesandwich had some positive qualities. The bun was fresh, the chicken was thinly pounded and breaded with a salty seasoning, andthe cheese made every bite savory. For those with a critical eye, the bird was slightly over cooked and the slaw was too runny -no one wants a soggy bun. All in all, it?s worth a trip to try out the menu option. I was looking forward to enjoying a delicious brunch. We went around 11 and they were quite busy which I thought was a good... sign. We order the Homemade granola and yogurt which taste like an average granola and simple yogurt. Tuna melt and fries.Probably the worse tasting fries I had in a long time. Very oily no crunch fries. Tuna melt taste like Tuna from can againnothing special. Farmer scrambles has very small small cut of zucchini and ham. Again flavor and taste very average. Taste likesomething we can make at home from frozen veggie mix. French toast was bone dry. The French toast is made with thicker toast andseems like it was dip for a second and didn't get to obsorb the egg mixture then cook. Flavorless French toast. And plus the cutfruit tasted like onion as if the knife cut onion then was used to cut the fruit. Would we go here by choice again probably not.Very lovely atmosphere with the outdoor seating. Sadly brunch was a let down. Read more

This place serves American classics some with a modern twist. The large patio is available for small and large groups as well as... private parties. The trout almandine and linguini and clams were both light and delicious. The Tuscan kale salad is a must try.The desserts were not too heavy. Read more

It was underwhelming. Service was not good although there were plenty of service type people in residence. They were not busy... enough for how many people were there, so it's easy to see that they're inefficiently organized. When they did come to thetable, they were cursory at best and it was easy to see they didn't care; Carrow's, just down the street, has superior sercice.People would serve a table coffee but neither serve nor offer any other table coffee; it's like they had tunnel vision. Thewaiter brought out three dishes for us even though there were only two of us and tried to insist that we had ordered two of thesame dish. Our drinks (coffee and a soft drink) never got refilled nor offered to refill. This was during a 11:00 a.m. time thatwas not seemingly busy. The food itself was okay I would say B to B+. However the service is a C- to a C. Final note: on thebill the time that we were paying the was six and a half hours off from the time that we were actually paying the bill. Read more

Nice outdoor seating and environment. I had the grilled cheese sandwich. It comes with sweet onions and mustard which adds a... lot of flavor. I also had an iced coffee that was really good. The quinoa salad was very good and flavourful. I wouldrecommend this. We had a light lunch and it was perfect. Read more
