The chicken parmigiana, lamb chops, broiled flounder, spaghetti and meat balls, seafood platter, and ravioli was amazing. The... service was top notch, and we were able to meet Teddy, the owner. Such a small world. Being right across from our hotel, thiswas not only convenient, but an excellent choice for any meal. I've been here twice in one day...breakfast and a super late dinner. And both meals were fantastic! Great portions at fair... prices...not to mention everything was super fresh and major comfort food! The small 10" cheese pizza we had for a late dinnerwas perfect, with a thick layer of generous cheese on top...like it was made with love and not with profits in mind. I'mprobably going back tomorrow for a late breakfast on my way out of town. If you get a chance to stop in you'll find something tocall your favorite! The people working there are super friendly and make you feel like family from the get go... The boothseating was comfy on my messed up back, so enjoy the food in comfort. Be safe all. Read more
Delicious hot fresh served food. This restaurant serves you up an amazing breakfast like grandma used to make. The service is... fast and friendly. Our drinks were never empty. We went here on a suggestion. I got pork chops, my bf got Veal Marsala... he was very disappointed. The sauce is supposed to be... a white wine sauce - see pic. It was a strange color.. and he thought pasta should come with it but it was a potato. The meatwas tough. One pork chop was VERY pink.. I was afraid to eat it.. the other was better but very tough too. I barely ate any ofit. The waiter wasn't friendly or concerned. Didn't ask.. just took my plate away. Excellent Restaurant. I had Grouper Francaise with Linguine and my wife had Broiled Flounder with Potatoes and Vegetables. We... both had Chicken Gumbo Soup and it was delicious. We highly recommend Skidders because it was pretty dam good. Read more

I had heard wonderful things about Skidders but had never been. We discovered they had an early bird special and decided to... check them out. Apparently, based on overhearing comments from the staff and guests, most of the other patrons were regulars, which I take to be a good sign. The staff was very welcoming, the food was delicious, the portions were large, and the priceswere reasonable. I'd definitely eat there again. Read more
Leaving town so we decided to get something to eat before traveling. We heard a lot of good things so we decided to give... Skidders a try, especially because it on the way. Service was great at the food was awesome. We started off with their NewEngland Clam Chowder and we both agreed it was the best we have had in a long time. Even better than we had in the New Englandarea. One of my favorite things that I witnessed was several repeat local customers that came in and each of the staff greetedthem calling them by the name. One elderly gentleman that came in and the staff not only called him by his name, but had hisdrink at what must be his regular table. We recommend Skidders. Read more
