Hidden gem. Was in the area to meet up with friends, ended up ordering from 802 4 nights in a row. Gf tried several pies, said... the margherita was super good. I\'m a bare bones guy. Pep, sausage, chz and it was consistently on point each time. I was toldthere was only one person making pies a couple of nights (7th, 8th oct) but shout out to whoever it was. Top work! Good service, delicious food, and fair priced. Much needed new addition in our little town. Variety of menu options, not just... pizza — which is great. It will become a new tradition for sure. Service was excellent and staff was helpful and friendly. Read more
I just paid $40 for the two mediocre burgers you see in the photo because the owner would not accommodate my request for a side... salad instead of fries.\n\nI ordered the two burgers online, and requested \"small salad or veggies instead of fries, please.\"On my way there to pick up the food, a staff member called me and informed me that their \"pricing structure for online orders\"didn\'t allow for that substitution. However, I could purchase an additional side salad for $7. I told her I wasn\'t interestedin paying even more money, when I didn\'t want the fries in the first place. I asked her if I could just order the burgers bythemselves, and she said yes, making it sound like I\'d just be paying for the burgers.\n\nI arrived at the store, the onlycustomer there. I said I was there to pick up an online order. I asked the owner if it was really true that he couldn\'t justthrow some salad stuff into a small take out container, and he said it was. He repeated the same line about the \"pricingstructure\" of this vast, two-location bureaucracy of a pizza restaurant that doesn\'t allow for the substitution of a sidesalad for fries. I explained to him that I had a child at home who had eaten a lot of fries recently, and a wife who has justgiven birth two days ago, and how disappointed I was with this whole situation.\n\nHe then explained that I was the first personto suggest offering a side salad as a substitution for French fries, implying that this was an especially exotic idea that he, agrown adult restaurant owner, had never, ever considered. Then, he thanked me for my feedback and tried to sell me the $7 sidesalad again. When I repeated that I wasn\'t interested in that, he asked me if I wanted the fries. I have enjoyed dine-in and take-out. I tend to be picky about pizza, and really love this spot. Worth the drive. The staff are... friendly and helpful and always happy to eliminate toppings or add toppings, this is the best pizza I\'ve had in Vermont. Read more
Staff was untrained, I watched 2 people return their pizza in the hour+ that I am waiting for mine. The owner showed up for less... than 5 minutes, told the staff “your good, I’ve got to go back to the other restaurant” the place has all the potential inthe world but is in need of management. The customer service was 5 Stars. The woman who answered the phone was kind, polite, informative, and answered all my... questions.\n\nThe Pizza was about 4 or maybe 4.5 Stars. I Ordered a Large Pizza with Vegan Cheese. The Vegan Cheese was melty,creamy, and had a decent texture. It was the best Vegan Cheese alternative I have had on a Pizza! However where the Pizza lackedwas in ratio. I understand they have you pay extra for Vegan Cheese so they want to give a lot to you, or possibly not manypeople order Vegan Cheese so they just gave me an Over Abundance of it! Don\'t get me wrong it\'s a tasty Slice, but I am a NewYorker that enjoys a Traditional Slice of Pizza (Veganized) that doesn\'t do the extra frills of \"Extra Cheese\". I prefer aBalanced Slice. The Pizza just needs a ratio adjustment between sauce and Vegan Cheese. I was unable to get the full flavor oftheir Tomato Sauce because the amount of cheese was over powering. The dough was cook through, nice and thin, and there was aslight saltiness that was Really Great!! The Dough had flavor! I would have just had it cook a little longer to get it a littlemore brown. However that is just a preference, the crust was fine. Next time I\'ll order it \"Well done\".\n\nIt was a littleexpensive. With a 3$ too I still paid a little over 31$. We have come here a few times since they’ve opened. I love supporting a new business. The food has been fine - really love the... thin crust. Unfortunately we won’t be giving them anymore business after seeing the unprofessional, disturbing bigotry andsupport of bigotry on their town’s social media forum. We vote with our dollars and I cannot support a business that feelscomfortable publicly spreading and supporting hate. Be better. Read more
