Very bad experience at this location, the woman at the counter was so rude and she even makes you feel that you are not welcome... here. I asked for cup for water and she told me there was no cups for water, I bought a juice and I get empty 12oz cup for iceand she charged me $2 for the cup and the receipt said 12oz coffee. I called before I came here to write a review hoping the restaurant would try to make it right. I ordered 2 subs from an online... order. The lettuce and spinach in both of them were brown. The meat was warm and gross. We both threw our subs away. The lady Ispoke to said I could bring the sandwich back in with a receipt to have it re-made. This location used to be my go to. Location is convenient and it?s a Subway. With that being said I will never come to the West... St. Paul Subway again. Today I came ordered 3 foot longs they were made correct nothing wrong, I got 3 additional cookies & achocolate milk. My total was $28.37, cool. I pay with a $100 which I do all the time at this location. They tell me that theycan?t accept it!?! Seriously?? Talking about they don?t have change... I just waited in line for 15mins and watched 2 people paywith cash. They asked the ?manager? in the back and still refused. Stated I could ask the facility next door (a small tacoplace) if they had change. I kindly asked for my bill back & left. No food 20 mins wasted upset kids. I?m very surprised that anational food chain did not have enough change for my money. Very disappointing and to the ?manager? in the back maybe have asign stating you don?t take bills larger than $20 if that?s the case. BE AWARE: I visited this location to get a sandwich on Saturday, June 27. One employee refused to wear a mask to make my... sandwich. I was told there are multiple employees that don't wear masks for "health reasons". I have contacted Subway corporateand the franchise owner. Neither have committed to the wearing of masks in food preparation, despite the requirements in Stage 3of Minnesota's reopening guidance. I have also been in contact with the State of Minnesota, Public Health, and the West St PaulPolice Department. I cannot recommend this restaurant until changes are made due to the public health risks that are present dueto the lack of masks during the food preparation process. Read more
Went there tonight and ordered a sub and asked for cheddar cheese on it. As I had to wait a bit till the next employee put the... veggies on it I noticed the cheese was definitely old because it was getting hard in spots and turning color and I looked in thebucket it came from several other pieces looked the same. I mentioned something to the next employee and he looked at mysandwich and said yea that's old. He told the girl who was the one who put the cheese on my sub and she looked mad and irritatedat me and they threw my sub away and got out new bread. Went into the cheese bucket and just threw out the top layers of cheesethat also clearly were old and then put more cheese on and finished making my sandwich. The Subway in the Walmart in West Saint Paul Minnesota was AWFUL. The older man working there was unbelievably rude with a bad... attitude. He was being extremely rude to the woman in front of me, then to me as I was looking at the menu rudely asking me if Iwas ready then just walked away and mumbled something when I said not yet. When I was ready, he shot me a look and didn't helpme. Thankfully I was helped by someone else, not so much .. she was rude as well. An older woman. When I went to go purchase asoda I asked for the small, she then replied 'they're both the same size' I said' oh okay thanks!:)' and that's when shereplied 'mmmhmmmm' in a very sassy tone. I had my subway account information stolen and an order placed for $40 at this subway. Chuck went above and beyond for me. He... not only voided the transaction but then messaged me the receipt he had so I could send it to my bank. I haven't been herebefore but employees like him make customers feel welcomed. Thank you!
