When I found this restaurant by accident on Uber eats I was literally jumping of joy! I'm Cuban-born and lived in Miami most of... my life. The food and the costumer service at this restaurant is beyond amazing and the value for your dollar is also great!Take some cash tips when visiting since they don't ask for tip on the card receipts. I was born in Cuba and I live in Miami. Cuban food in Miami is excellent. Visiting Utah I didn't expect to find a Cuban... restaurant. So when I found Batista's, I was happy but worried it wouldn't be authentic. I was wrong, this place is 100% asgood as the best Cuban restaurants in Miami. Everything we had was fantastic. I wish I could leave a higher review, but mistakes on orders means I won?t do that. I ordered off Uber eats. They had a BOGO... promo and we opted for two Cuban sandwiches. We selected fried cheese as the side. I?d seen pictures of that side online and itwas one of the main reasons I chose to order here. The order was ready quickly. The space is small and simple but has room forseveral dine-in tables. They offer a medium-sized menu with authentic dishes. The staff were friendly. Portions were good onthe sandwiches. The Cubans were delicious! Great meats and good bread. Unfortunately, they gave us the wrong sides. We hadfries?which were frankly terrible. They reminded me of elementary school cafeteria fries. Fix your fry game or at least get thesides right next time! I do plan on ordering again, but I?ll check my order next time upon pickup. I'm happy new business are starting out she mention they been open 1month, so i feel bad and i know they are trying to do their... best, and I saw a review of a new Nicaraguan and Cuban restaurant. I was excited and invited some family to come along, in Saltlake there any nicaraguan restaurants. I would said they dont have any native food from nicaragua, We try 7 plate, but stakesandwiches my son like it, the meats were a 10, chike pinchos were delicious small portions, pork plate the pork was delicious10 small portions, an order of fry banana we laughed because it was only 3 quarter side slide, the soup felt water down, the,the beans soup with olive not sure if thats a cuban thing but did no taste good, no drink only soda or water which is ok, therice and bean ( Gallo pinto) it was not a gallo pinto, service they did not check back with us, but they were freidndly overall the stake were ok, the pork and chicken were delicious feed back to small, i would probably come back later and give onemore chance hope thing are running better good luck, ???? ????
