Although I've lived in the neighbourhood for years, and knew about Tap for years, I only just got around to patroning the... restaurant for the first time last month. One of the best meals I?ve ever had. These guys deserve a Michelin Star. Service is friendly and high class, both drinks and... food are excellent. Served fast and hot. Seasoned to perfection. Portion size is substantially bigger than other restaurants ofthis calibre. Best lamb I?d say I?ve ever had. Unique and changing menu based on the seasons. Wide variety of ingredientssourced from all over. Top notch everything. Huge wine list and plenty of special events. Mixed cocktails are excellent. Pricingis also very reasonable for this quality and service of food. 10/10 we will be coming back in the near future. Read more
Walked in essentially blind never hearing of it before. It was lovely. Friendly staff, great vibe, and the live band was a... fantastic touch on the patio. We just had my mom's 60th Birthday party at Tap last night and WOW! I'm a pretty picky person as are the guest at our event & we... ALL of us were so impressed with this place! We were given a gift certificate and chose to use some of it in one of their take home meals to cook at our convenience. Was OK... but found the amount of chicken that came with the meal was lacking. ?Come on guys this is chicken? the cheapest form of meatand our expectations were not met with the amount we brought home and the price that was paid! As for fine dining experience ,the Old Surrey Restaurant is much better! Read more
