I was back in Williamsport for a visit and decided to give the Bridge Tavern a try. As a kid, my family enjoyed the food from... the "old" Bridge Tavern. It was a family favorite...especially the Bridge Burger. I was not disappointed with the "new"version. My burger was sooo good. The taste took me back to the old days. Our waitress was really nice and attentive, even though she was new. Food was just ok. Not spectacular. I had the chicken... quesadilla. Shredded lettuce, tomato and jalapenos on the side, for what? The chicken was shredded and I think had some kindof seasoning. My husband had a burger on a strange bun. But he was satisfied. Probably will only go back occasionally, if atall. Atmosphere was blah. Ordered the cheese steak with everything hot peppers mushrooms pepper relish , garden etc. Cut in half.Got home very... boring and plain. And not cut. Moving forward I will open the container and inspect my order. Read more
We usually stop in to eat at the bridge every month or two and have been quite satisfied this evening however it was extremely... disappointing. My fiance and I both had cheese steaks of which three quarters of mine was probably fried onions and very littlemeat my fiance however had much more meat than I. Both of our buns were quite dry and were falling apart as we tried to eatresulting in the contents falling out onto our plates. We will however try again as we usually enjoy the bridge. Read more
The food is fantastic but the service the last time we were in there was sad. A man sitting near the end of the bar wit a child... maybe three years old at the most was using vulgar language about women and their body parts and used foul language to describehow he nails his wife and and every other woman and a bartender wit long hair was chiming in with him. If he hadn't been with alittle boy I would have confronted him. The bartender said nothing about his language he just added to the problem. The redheaded bartender was working hard to serve everyone there. This was at 4:30 in the afternoon. Today we ordered food to be pickedup and whoever answered the phone just said Hello and nothing else. The person picking up the food was treated very poorly whenshe arrived. It's a shame for this place it used to be wonderful. Read more
Amazing food! We had super friendly, helpful service and they recommended several awesome dishes. Favorites included the fried... cheese, burger, cheese steak, fries (all the varieties) and peanut butter pie! Read more
Had a party for 60 people and was very pleased. The staff was accommodating and responsive and the food was excellent!
