I awarded 5 stars, because of the restaurant's vibrant staff, mouth-watering menu, and massive margaritas (which always hit the... spot!). Each visit has been a new experience in all the best ways! The staff has always been swift and courteous and my food(along with everyone else's) each visit is always great! However, some days the food is EXTRA good! A random visit to this restaurant turned to be a wonderful evening here. The ambience is good and this facility has a lot of... seating indoor and outdoor. Our server was really nice and infact everyone in the staff was. We ordered the pineapple and themelon margaritas, wouldn't recommend as it's mostly syrup instead of the fruits you are better off ordering the standardmargaritas. The guacamole was really creamy and the quantity was really really good and freshly made. The vegetable stir frywould be a recommended dish for vegetarians as it tasted really good. Pescado frita was a fried tilapia fish with the two sidesof your choice. The fish was not seasoned well and was too oily. For dessert we had the tres leech cake and it was a littletight but flavourful. Would definitely recommend this place! Read more

They were friendly on the phone when I called to ask if thier patio was dog friendly. It is. I had the seafood enchiladas, hubs... had a stuffed chili and pork tamale combo, and our dogs had a refreshing bowl of tap water. The menu is extensive, with platesgeared to satisfy any palate. Read more
We always enjoy our time at Mexicali. The first time we visited was a few years ago and we had a Groupon for dinner. Since that... time we've been back quite a few times (sans Groupon lol). The food is delicious and you get a decent amount for the price. Weare so pleased to see that their meatless options have increased as well. Read more
I like this place when it comes to eating Mexican on any day. Tex Mex Egg Rolls is my favorite appetizer. Calamari is good too.... I want to try the Shrimp and Spinach Queso Dip, maybe next time. We had the Grilled Salmon Taco, Dos Amigos and Chicken Fajitasfor the main course. Everything served on the table tasted great.
