This is a beautiful and clean place restaurant in the area. They had some music entertainers playing violin and banjo playing... while we were there and it gave the place a real country feel. I absolutely love dining at at Ransom Tavern when I am in town for a visit! The Neapolitan pizza is superb. This is my favorite... way to enjoy pizza, so I am always on the hunt for some. The butternut squash bisque is divine, and the meatballs ricotta aredelicious! The wine list is fantastic and there are local beers on draft. This place is truly a hidden gem. Staff were friendly and following on marking my experience is perfect. I had the Greek Salad... and the Gardener Pizza. The wooden pizza tasted delicious and perfect. The salad was decent too. The outside seating at theporch was comfy even on a cold rainy day. Very historic place dated to 1828! We loved it so much we ended up coming back everyday on our 3-day trip. We had dinner there the first night, and it was sooo... good. We came back for drinks and appetizers. The staff is so kind, and accommodating. The set up is very socially distanced,and you're basically eating in their beautiful garden. Also available for takeout. Good pizzas but limited selection for me, although all the others in our party were happy with the choices.
