We had an amazing stay. Carol and Jeff were so friendly and welcoming; we felt so comfortable and taken care of. We celebrated... our honeymoon there and the ambiance was perfect. My first B&B experience! I absolutely adore this B&B. The charming decor sucked me right in, and I was so obsessed with the... gorgeous and unique dining room are with cool checkered floors! Everything was super clean and warming, you felt right at home.I loved our room on the second floor with its own set of stairs! Carol & Jeff were so amazing and helpful with any questionsabout the area and I'm honestly going to miss seeing them in the mornings!! We had such a lovely time! This home is simply lovely, I literally did not want to leave! From the cookies and snacks to the... availability of coffee and tea anytime and the complementary soft drinks, it was so wonderful. It had everything you could everneed. Oh, and the breakfasts were delicious and so accomodating for my husband who needs gluten free. The home itself isbeautiful and the hosts are so very welcoming and gracious. My husband and I were absolutely amazed by the spaciousness and superb condition of this historic inn. Our room was large and... airy, with a terrace overlooking the garden and a luxurious large bathroom. What a generous space downstairs for guests? use.Meticulously maintained and tastefully decorated. The hosts make you feel right at home and go above and beyond to accommodateguests and their dietary caprices! Breakfast is such a gourmet delight, cookies are magical and the owners leave a lots ofadd-ons for the guests? use. We came to Cape with the busy agenda but didn?t even want to leave the inn. Beautiful home and staff, wished we knew that some construction was happening during our stay but appreciative that they want to... keep their property in good shape. Our room was rather dark and yes the breakfast was OUTSTANDING, I just wish there was more ofit! Haha! Overall, we are happy with our first B&B experience. I have stayed at the Captain Farris House a number of times, and the experience is always FANTASTIC. I enter tired and stressed,... and leave relaxed and refreshed. Carol and Jeff are excellent innkeepers. The room I always prefer to book is beautiful,comfortable and always spotlessly clean. The breakfasts are truly delicious.
