Great burgers and service but be careful when tipping. Really tasty “build your own burger” options and prompt, very... pleasant service. Good value beer and wine (given the location ;-) I was there recently in a 5-person group and the restaurantincluded the tip in the check, without saying anything. (On a prior visit in a 5-person group the tip was not included.) Thehand-held device taking the place of a paper bill makes it a bit more difficult to see what you are paying for! Read more
My husband and I are locals and wanted to try out the burger bar, we went later at night to avoid the crowds just looking for... some burgers and a beer. After ordering our appetizer, it came out with no sharing plates and we had no utensils. It took usabout 10 minutes to catch the busboy’s attention for some silverware and for 2 waters since we were done with ourbeers. After about 20 minutes, our waitress came back to take our dinner order which was a chicken coop sandwich and the BaconCheeseburger. Food came out by a food runner which was fine but our waitress didn’t come back until after we were done. Wewere going to order another round of drinks and ask for ketchup but no one was in sight. Rated 2 stars due to the overall lackof service and attention. As someone who worked in the restaurant industry, it killed me not to tip the 20% but we weren’ttaken care of. Terrible Fried chicken Bowl to say it has no flavor is an understatement...after enjoying great order of wings 1... bite of the Bowl removed all flavor from my mouth leaving me with a slab of flavor less chicken in my mouth, will say this wentgreat with ice water because it was at least cooked well enough so my mouth was hot drinking ice water was refreshing... To begin with the entrance looks fancy with outdoor dining as an option! The place looks clean and has thick wooden tables and... chairs. As for the food, one of the best burgers and fries I’ve had! After much anticipation, this Memorial Day Weekend, I had the opportunity to dine at Union Burger Bar in Southampton, NY. Upon... arriving, I immediately noticed the space’s warm and hospitable feel, hosting customers of all ages seeking good traditionalAmerican cuisine. I ended up getting the Health Nut Salad with shrimp (Arguably a sin at a restaurant notorious for theirburgers), and I was extremely impressed. The service was fast, the shrimp was fresh, and amid the Memorial Day bustle, I stillfound the staff extremely accommodating and attentive. The menu offered a range of specialty burgers, sandwiches, sides, andappetizers to pair with hearty milkshakes or alcoholic beverages. The restaurant was relatively full, with clientele sitting atthe bar, indoor seating, and outdoor tables. All sitting areas comply with COVID protocol, as servers wore masks and plasticdividers separated tables capable of hosting bigger parties or more intimate gatherings. By the end, I didn’t feel rushed toleave. When I got my bill, I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable the dinner was, considering the generous portion and theprice of comparable restaurants. Given the quality of food and service, I would highly recommend Union Burger Bar and aminclined to believe other establishments owned by the same owners (Union Sushi and Steakhouse and Southampton Social Club) wouldoffer a similarly enjoyable experience.
