I would give this place a zero if I could. Service was horrible. It took 50 minutes to get our dinner for three and there... was only 3 others tables full. The waiter had no clue about anything on the menu, which had very little choices. Our haddockand chips was so small that it looked like kids portions. My son's chicken pasta was okay minus the nasty chicken that theyused, although the shrimp that he added were good. The medium sauce on the wings definitely didn't taste like medium, it wasjust weird. When I approached the owner about the service he said they were short staffed and really didn't seem to care. Ifeels like an excuse. Two cooks, a waiter and waitress and four tables total being served, and one table left before us. None of these tables had more than four people, and we were leaving just as the dinner crowd was coming in. We have been therein the past and food and service were great. The waiter said "New Owners". Well, we will never be back. We should have wentacross the street, better food and service for the same money. Read more

Had good fish & chips at Duffy?s Famous Fish & Chips. Our waiter Owen was quick to welcome us and our drinks. We were in luck as... they were offering fish & chips using PERCH!! A very tasty ( although fishy ) choice that should be enjoyed when you get achance to try perch. For a good fast meal, or just beer mug of the ?soup of the day? when in Southampton try Duffy?s Famous Fish& Chips. Read more
Really great fish-and-chips! Our waiter was such a friendly happy guy and made our dining experience really awesome... I just... can't give it a full 5 stars because the actual restaurant itself is pretty dismal :) but I think it sort of adds to the charm?I guess it's a matter of perspective ???? Read more
My family and I head up to Southampton once a year for a "little getaway". Each time we are there we pick a new place to eat.... We have heard many good things about Duffys fish and chips so we decided to give in a try. To be honest, from the moment wetried calling in our order for pick up, we were disappointed. They didn't have half of the things available we wanted. Theyweren't even sure if they had hot sauce, they had to go and check. We ended up ordering our second choices, as we still wantedto give them a try. 15-20 minute wait for pickup, no problem! We arrived 15 minutes later, and then had to wait another 10minutes in line, while the customers in front of us put in their order. Our food was sitting there the whole time in a baggetting all nice and soggy. We ended up eating what was edible in the car as we didn't want to waste anymore time. The fish wassoggy, the fries were cold. The amount of coleslaw was not a "side" of coleslaw, it was not even enough for one full bite. Maybea separate line for people picking up their orders would be a good idea? Maybe an update on the website stating shortages wouldbe a good idea? For the amount of money we spent on buying 3 meals, we definitely felt we got ripped off. Unfortunately we willnot be returning customers. Read more
Great light battered crispy fish, plus excellent fries. They were very busy Thursday evening and we were unable to get in for... dinner, so we returned Friday for lunch and we weren't disappointed, very impressed. Read more
Friday Fish and Chips!!! Jonathan was just as excited to have me eating there as I was!!! Thank you so the staff there that made... the experience great. I enjoyed the 2 piece Haddock and Chips. It came with tarter, coleslaw, and huge lemon wedge. The fishwas a magical golden brown batter and the fish was cooked perfectly, great balance of tender and flaky! To add to the experienceis the massive patriotic Canada Flag, the breathtaking sunset, and a bagpiper, every Friday during the summer, sends off the sunthrough music!
