Very disappointed. Third time we tried but same results. Menu, as told by our server, hasn't been updated online for 2 years, so... when nothing I wanted was on the actual menu, that sucked. Food was ok but server didn't know the specials and after he went andchecked what they were, he rambled through them and we had no idea what he even said. I was charged for refills on sodas whichwas pretty shady but when I said something they were apparently, as he put it, "on him." Doubtful. Over priced and for being oneof two tables in the whole place, for the third time, not worth it. Why is everything dowsed in an abundance of garlic? EvenFrench onion soup(odd). Don't recommend. It's Christmas time and we revisited Johnny Apples. We had great meal, place was decorated nicely, people were super friendly,... drinks cold delicious. You should try this place for an enjoyable time. We had New England Clam Chowder, salad, BroiledScallops, Asparagus and mashed potatoes, it was perfect. So Enjoy. This was a new place for us, having driven by many times, soit was time to try. Clean, friendly & helpful staff, mixture of new and stately decor. Good range of meal offerings, pretty muchany beverage you might desire. They offer a wide variety of meal specials as well. We started with bacon wrapped scallops,mmmm. We had the Prime Rib, and Veal MichaelAngelo, with mashed potatoes, broccoli and a salad, finishing with a slice ofRaspberry cheesecake. Everything was delicious and well prepared, they must have a chef. The prices and quantity of the foodwere reasonable. We are planning to go back there soon. The staff here are super friendly! Food is always very good as are the drinks! Great spot to have dinner with family or to catch... a game and sit at the bar. Highly recommend! Must try the meatloaf! Read more
