Due to our (a different place) favorite sushi place selling their business, we're on the hunt for a new favorite. Happened to... find Naru doing an online search and the really good reviews, so decided to give it a try. Being a Monday, it wasn't busy, butthe staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We made our selections and timing was perfect. Our food was fresh, great flavor,and it's definitely a place we'd try again. I do wish the sushi rolls were larger. Most places we've been to, there is astandard sushi roll size. Of course which roll you order, this will vary some, but these rolls are much smaller than mostplaces. The price is very high and I wish the rolls were standard sizes. We ordered several appetizers for our small group.They were all exceptionally good. Everyone enjoyed their food. The sushi wasn't my favorite, but definitely worth going back andtrying other options. They even went above and beyond, making sure we were happy, had everything we needed, enjoyed everything,and brought out two special dessert dishes as we were celebrating a birthday. Went at lunchtime, service was so good you couldn't understand why they had a hiring sign. Dragon Egg appetizer was delicious... quarter avocodo stuffed with crab and spicy tuna then fried and sauced. Split a vegetable hibachi with teen and had enoughleftover to both eat for lunch next day. The miso soup was some of the best I've ever had, very flavorful and rich. And the freepineapple desert with dark chocolate was a yummy surprise, so fresh even the teen who does not like pineapple enjoyed eatingsome. Read more

This place was fantastic. Super speedy service. Food was FANTASTIC. They gave a little chocolate pineapple dish for dessert and... it came on the house and I thought somehow my bf tipped them off it was my birthday but apparently it?s a sweet standard dishthey present. Keri and I decided to go have lunch and thought we would try somewhere new. Saw Naru, read the menu and decided that this would... be the place to eat. It is a cozy open atmosphere with a decent selection of sushi, hibachi and udon as well as othermiscellaneous goodies. We both had bento boxes, hers with chicken teriyaki and mine with nigiri. We also split a baked spicyhurricane roll consisting of crawfish, I also had hot green tea. This place has been on my list of places to try and I am glad I finally got to try because it was absolutely delicious. For the... appetizer we got egg rolls which were great. As an entree we ordered the Chicken hibachi with yum yum sauce, sizzling Korean BBQsteak and Volcano rolls????????. I enjoyed the soup and salad. We left extremely full and satisfied.
