An absolute TRUE GEM! I lovvvvve The Metro Bistrot! A quaint little hideaway, French Restaurant, right in Southbridge! The place... is Very small and not what you'd imagine, but the quality of food is OUT OF THIS WORLD, AMAZING!! I love how you can see thechef right there, cooking in front of you at the main bar, hence smelling the wonderful food while you wait. Everything was sofresh! And you can bring your own own drink! The appetizers already had us drooling, waiting for our main courses. I had thesoup of the day (amazing!) and my husband had the ratatouille (sooo good!!). The main courses also did Not disappoint. I hadthe Fish course. I want to say it was seabass that night. Whatever it was, it was cooked perfecrly and paired so well with whiterice and peas. My husband's veal dinner was very tasty too, accompanied with ratatouille, rice and peas. The one thing we didagree on though, was that the veal or veal sauce was a tad bit too salty. Other than that, the food was through the roof,really! We definitely plan to go back since it's right in our neighborhood and is actually high quality food. The atmosphere wasvery relaxing as well. Pricing makes sense with this kind of quality food. I'm surprised it's not more expensive. Read more
Excellent food. Excellent service. Limited menu, but enough choices to fit any palette. Try the tasting menu. The chef consults... with you to develop your individual menu. BYOB. So grab a great bottle of french wine to compliment your meal. Read more

Absolutely amazing! Traveling for work and ended up here 3 nights in a row. The guy who left the review about them being racist... is obviously a scumbag because they treat people based off character. Read more
I enjoyed the soup of the day as well as the dessert. The main plate (boursin shrimp) was not my favorite. Two comments were... made by staff which were unnecessary, making the restaurant atmosphere less enjoyable. Read more
My boyfriend and I happened upon this place while traveling back to Waltham from NY, and it was an amazing find. We are not... very well versed in French cuisine, but each bite of food was truly amazing. The flavors were well developed, and includedcombinations that we wouldn't of even considered before (goat cheese, peas, and mint! Who knew?). As someone with dietaryrestrictions, the careful explaination of each dish and how seriously out server took those restrictions was greatlyappreciated. I cannot express how delighted I was when my food was served, and a portion of the dish that I could not eat wasreplaced with another side that was clearly just as well thought out and amazing as the rest of the dish. While this restaurantis far from our normal stomping grounds, well definitely be back! Read more
Absolutely great food with a lovely ambiance. It is BYOB, so just be aware of that! Also it's not a bad idea to make a... reservation since they have very few tables and you get the table for the whole evening. They usually have a lot of specials andnew dishes so it's always exciting to go! Read more
