Heard the fried chicken was really good here, stopped in after work, right before they closed, only a few pieces left. I get 3... legs, kind of dry, shriveled, zero sides or biscuit. Tasted ok. Price tag was 9.50. Figured I'd pay, according to popularopinion, for "the best fried chicken EVER". No, nowhere near worth the money. Edit: I'm assuming the response from the ownerhighlighting that I got there at closing is some sort of attempt at an excuse. My experience with the staff was wonderful as usual, but for 12 pieces of chicken it cost $43. I absolutely understand prices... rising, but to almost double the prices of your chicken? I came in seeing on the counter that 6 pieces was the normal $10 deal,so id be paying about $25 for 12 pieces, but $43? For just chicken, nothing else? Thats too much, and its a shame, the chickenis really good. Cant recommend a place that charges that much for fried chicken. Read more
How does 1 chicken breast and 1 leg with some cold fries cost me $12 when the menu says otherwise? I wish i had checked the menu... before going in. I literally got robbed. PS: their chicken cesar wrap is soooo trash and small and soo expensive for what youget, Quality/price simply does not match here???. never again! Read more
I?ve been going to Patties in Newtown for a while now. Their food is always delicious and fulfilling. Today I decided I didn?t... want to drive the extra 15 minutes to Newtown and went to Patties in Southbury. Very very disappointed in the difference of bothlocations. Not only did we find a bread tie in one of the meals, not in the meal but in the meal wrapping, but the food wassubpar to say. I ordered 6 meals, with 3 small fries, order price was about $70. The Reuben Pastrami was so dry I couldn?t evenfinish it. The fire burger was a disappointment, and the two beef gyros was all bread and hardly any meat. The biggestdisappointment was the fries. Hard, tasteless and cold, like they weren?t cooked all the way. The only good part of the meal wasthe Joes Tea. Maybe it?s the lack of motivation in this staff compared to Newtown but I?ll always drive to Newtown from now on. Read more

The Southbury shop is a little run down but don?t let that deter you. They have the best fried chicken I?ve ever had. My dad... used to stop here to get us lunch on road trips when I was a kid. Now I go as an adult and the sandwiches are all very good too. Read more
The food is usually pretty good and the chicken is usually excellent. I stopped in yesterday for chicken and decided on ... getting a piece of cheesecake. The chicken was a little bit dry and then today I ate the cheesecake it was delicious untilalmost all the way through eating it I bit into something sharp it seems like a piece of white glass or sharp plastic . I ammediately called there and talk to the manager and he really didn?t seem concerned. I explained what happened and suggested thathe took the cheesecake out of the display case and not Sell anymore and that I would stop in in a day or two and drop offwhatever it was it was in the cheesecake so that they can show whoever made or wherever it came from . Literally just left here from lunch break. I?m giving 5 stars because the girl behind the counter was awesome with great energy... and very helpful it was my first time here, but I will say I was disappointed because almost half way through my bacon burger Irealized my burger was quite raw and the fries were overly salty so I just trashed the food . Whoever made the food just didn?tcare and it was obvious. the price for this burger small fry and small soda was a bit steep for the way my food came out. Thiswas in the Newtown store. Read more
