As you can see I ?? this place! Vegan friendly. BYOB. They do serve beer and I think wine in the restaurant. If that's not your... thing the Thai iced tea is phenomenal! Great for a date night or takeout. Before I went vegan, I used to eat either their duckor chicken curry. I've tried all the colors and the crispy duck special and you can't go wrong. It just depends on what mood, spice, and veggie preference. If you are a fan of duck this place knows how to cook it deliciously. I went plant based over thesummer and can still get their delicious curry I just order whichever I want with tofu instead. No changes needed for myfavorite appetizer the spring rolls. Read more

Went there for lunch. They have a nice lunch special menu that comes with soup and an appetizer with your meal. The soup was... delicious! However I asked if they could make what I ordered spicy, some dishes are noted as spicy but what I selected wasn't. I was told they could but unfortunately they didn't. I'll just have to try something different next time because I will go back. Read more

An excellent meal! All generous portions, Tom Yum had plenty of mushrooms and shrimp (3) with a nice tang too it. Chicken Satay... was tender and both sauces were great. Drunken Noodle was delicious, I will be back! Read more

UPDATE: 8/8/22: Tried ordering dinner for delivery and it was an hour late! I deducted 2 stars for such a horrible experience.... Def. dine-in or pick up. 8/3/22: Consistently good Thai food with friendly attentive service. The portions are so large thatyou also have lunch for the next day! Try the Thai chicken wings! We ?? Samui. Read more

Im thinking of Samui tonight because I wanted curry so, so badly. Specifically their massaman curry. Every time I order it, and... the spring rolls, I?m so, so happy. The portion sizes are large so you get more than what you pay for. In high school I wouldorder for pickup and go directly to pick it up after school, lol. The staff are nice! Usually a younger man who is alwaysextremely polite. I wish the dining room was full, more people need to try this place. Side note though: if you can?t toleratespice, don?t order more than mild. Best yellow curry I have ever had. It was like an explosion of flavor in my mouth. I felt pure joy while eating it. I think it?s... in the top 10 best things I?ve ever eaten. The service was so fast and attentive! Read more

Cozy nice spot, but food was way below average. The only good thing we had was the Thai iced tea. Pho was bland with absolutely... no flavor. Crab Rangoon was extremely fishy smelling and tasting/not fresh. Service was rushed and short & the female server didnot check on us during our meals bc we would?ve definitely mentioned it. The young male server seemed nice and did ask us howwas everything after already finishing our meals (because we were hungry). At that point we just wanted to pay and leave & nevergo back. Unfortunately with so many other options, I wouldn?t recommend this place. Read more

After some shopping in the area, my mom and I were craving Thai and decided to try a new place. When we opened the menu, we were... super excited to discover Samui is the sister restaurant to our usual go-to, Bangkok Room in Ansonia! We were met with the samequality in food and service that we know and love. The beef pan fried and the pad Thai were delicious. I will definitely returnwhen I find myself in the area wanting Thai!
