Ordered pick up on a golf trip. Told us when to pick up and was ready in minutes of us getting there. Big pizzas!! Good food.
My relationship with Southern Pines is as a destination where I visit family. During these visits, we will reliably return to... many of the same places to experience this small town?s charm and unique vibe. SoPies is one of the places in our rotation.Whether we enjoy our meal on the sidewalk out front, or more frequently, take it to one of the local breweries or outdoor barsand music venues, SoPie pizza is a staple that has been part of many gatherings. Their pizza is very good. It may not be yourfavorite, but it?s well made and will please most people. And the venue is truly quaint, situated on a pedestrian friendlystretch of town near an old inn and an ice cream shop, with outdoor seating, and just room enough indoors to make feel likeyou?re in a New York style pizza joint. Lovely Sunday dining experience. The Strombolis and Calzones are huge! The fried ravioli appetizer was delicious. Great service... and friendly hardworking staff! Great food. A little pricey but when you see the portions it will make sense and be worth it!Definitely planning to come back. Read more
Wow, is the word or the day! Absolutely the best Calzone I have ever tasted and I've had Calzones in Maryland, DC, Virginia,... New Jersey and New York. My mouth is actually watering thinking about eatting this again. Huge portion that I happily ateagain the day after. My other half had pizza and said it was very good as well. Be back soon for sure. Little hole-in-the-wall style NY pizzeria. Having lived up north for the majority of my life, I can tell when pizza is... good. I've ordered whole pies from here as well as walked in and picked up slices. Regardless of which pizza I buy, I alwayswalk away happy. The service here does take time - they're insanely busy. I have never not had to wait in line or seen theplace not packed. That's a good sign! If you're in Southern Pines, take a bit of time out of your day to stop in and grab aslice or a pie.
