I hope the problem was going on a Monday night but food was so terrible ill never find out for certain. Service was friendly but... wasn't experienced. Cheese Grits were dry and not cheesy, served as a patty. All the sides were bad. The lobster Mac is in acheese sauce that was too thin to stick to the noodles. The "market vegetables" were sad. See photos. It was like someone whonever knew nice food attempted for the first time with no recipe or a cook from a hospital cafeteria made a low sodium menu. Read more
Generally very good experience. Good service, good food. Prices are reasonably for what you get. Not top of the line for the... steak lovers but a strong meal with an old classy style feel. Read more
SPS provided a wonderful location for my 40th birthday celebration. The food was amazing, per usual, but the staff did a great... job to make the dinner special. They decorated the table with “Happy Birthday” confetti and took a photo of our group, andprinted it out as a keepsake. Also, while this is not a restaurant I would typically bring children to, they had a few optionsfor them not listed on the primary menu. This is a place we will be returning for special events! First, let me say that the steak at Southern Prime is amazing. I had the filet mignon and my partner had the ribeye. Steak at... this place is cooked to perfection. However, the sides lacked flavor. The cheese grits were bland and the vegetables were soso. For such an expensive place, everything on a plate should be delicious. Also, we had the lobster mac and cheese which cameout lukewarm instead of hot. Hence, this place gets 3 stars from me. I expect that, if I'm paying $45 dollars or more a plate,all the food will be exquisite. Sadly, that was not the case this time. This occasion was also my birthday and I did receive acomplimentary dessert which was nice (chocolate lava cake shown in picture - pretty good). That said, I will give Southernprime 5 stars on the pacing of the meal. We received each dish in a timely manner and never felt rushed to finish the appetizersbecause entrees were being pushed on us prematurely. Overall, you can't beat the beautiful dining rooms at this place. Thestaff is pretty good there as well. The hostess initially took us to the wrong table (the birthday tables have birthday confettiall over them and are typically a booth), but she complied with our request to change without much fuss. Notice I did not say"no fuss". She appeared a little annoyed but it was my birthday, I could care less how she felt!lol Read more

We had my father’s birthday dinner at SPS this past week and we were so pleased. The restaurant is beautiful. The service... was AMAZING- Kelly was awesome. Multiple managers came over to our table to check on us and wish my father a Happy Birthday. Our table was sprinkled with happy birthday signs. They knew how to make this night super special. The food was exquisite! Icannot recommend this restaurant enough. Read more
