I have gone to Athens for over twenty years! They are a wonderful group of people with a family nucleus. Very fine people... indeed. They make the best homemade pitas in Michigan and I have traveled to many places and you won?t find anything close. It?s no secret , the Greek Salad is my fave! This is a very nice place to eat. The service is professional and caring. They pay attention to the details. When I go there... it's like having lunch at the neighbor's house. I dislike the term ?hidden gem,? because no business wants to be hidden, but it describes Athens Souvlaki really well. Their... food is consistently incredible. Homemade pita is legendary. Spinach pie is wonderful. I?ve visited countless times and havealways been happy with my order. Everyone who works here is very friendly too. This isn?t a Coney Island, so you may wait a fewextra minutes for your food, but it?s totally worth it. Read more

Walked past 4 of the staff at the counter and grills. Sat down and waited10 minutes and never even got acknowledged. Place was empty save a couple of carry out customers. No excuse.
