The server assigned to our 20 person party was dismissive. We reserved for 40 and paid for 40 people! She didn't help serve... drinks or help at all. We had to go to the bar to order our drinks. She was available immediately when she wanted to get paid. We wanted to stay for karaoke and more drinks but the staff said we weren't welcome. We went to another place and continued tospend money. Your staff caused you to lose money. It was a birthday and reunion of the 70th division army band. Everyone wassober and well behaved. Your staff was LAZY!! Read more

Pizza was delicious. Service was ok, server wasn't very friendly, took the entire meal to get a refill on drinks after flagging... someone else down. Tables are spread far apart which is nice with little kids. Everything was clean except the highchair.Sticky, wet straps. I would try this place again because pizza was good. Read more

Shield's deep dish pizza is delicious and unique with a slightly sweetened pizza sauce right on top and a satisfying crispy... crust edge. It has been my favorite pizza for decades and they cook it to perfection every time. Read more

Shields is well known for their pizza. It was really good, but, pizza was doughy in the middle, had a large deposit... dish.. Service was really not very friendly. Just rather "going thru the motion".. with tip already automatically at 15% addedto the bill, seems they don't have to try very hard. Sad. I was a Shields regular at one time. Recently ordered my all time favorite, Joe Wings. Was told menu was limited that day, so no... fries were available among other items. Ordered anyway, and advised that I wanted my wings fried hard (hate soft tastingchicken). My order total was 16.00 for JUST 10 wings, not even celery for decor was added. Wings were thrown together withseasoning, and not to my liking . Called back and complained, young lady at restaurant did offer to have them made again. 40minutes later I took the old wings back and got another order they made. Wings were cooked this time as asked but lookeddifferent still than what I ordered as a regular guest in the past. This was the second time I had a Joe wings issue within a 4month period. Ordered take out for the first time for my wife. She has a gluten allergy and was excited to eat a gluten free pizza but we were... disappointed at how over cooked the dough was and the pizza was as thin as a piece of cardboard, not worth $15. The fries weretough to eat as if they were microwaved, the fish was so oily, and the coleslaw had only a spoonful in the cup. Verydisappointing experience.
