Where to begin. Came in with a friend and ordered breakfast and a Coke. Waited 35 minutes before I received my soda. After 50+... minutes we asked a server how much longer on our food. Was told she would check. After another 10+ minutes, asked the same younglady how much longer on our food. Our server then came to the table and said "yeah"? I said we were wondering about our food andhe said it would be another 10+ minutes because they had a $300 order come in. I asked why that was never communicated and hehad no answer. I then asked about the required 20% gratuity that is added to every check regardless of service and he said thatis mandatory. We left after waiting over an hour with no communication and no food. I wanted to try this place out however after reading the reviews I decided not to use Uber for them. Main reason being how the... owner responds back to the reviews I thought it was like social media for real the way that you clap back at customers I kind offound that very appalling to get snippy with customers because it is a complete turn off for new customers. So for that reason Iwill not be checking you out to find out how the food is one way or another and I love to support black owned businesses. OVERPRICED!! Me and my wife were trying to go to Original Pancake House but they were packed! We was short on time so we headed... to the closet breakfast spot. Absolutely no other customer we’re inside on a Friday morning, red flag. We ordered our foodeven though the prices seemed a little high. It took about 30 minutes to get the food which was odd because there was literallyno other customers there. Pancakes was hard. The waitress brought out a cold bottle of syrup that seemed to be sitting in therefrigerator, never experienced that in my life. Why would anybody want cold syrup on hot pancakes. Grits was watery. Then theyhave the nerve to have an automatic 20% gratuity. For 2 people? That’s insane. $55 breakfast for 2 but I wouldn’t even eatthere again if the bill was $20. Read more
Highest place ever! 2 servers over the entire restaurant, food is not worth the prices. My bill of almost $58 for 2 breakfasts... included a 20% gratuity charge automatically. I won’t be back & would’ve been more satisfied @ IHOP! 1 star is forcleanliness. Pancakes were hard, salmon patties were almost burnt with no flavor, grits were watery & the tip was $10 for a $50order (20%) the service & food was not worth the price. Read more
I could not wait to give them a review. this was my first time coming. I had no idea this place was here. first off they are... very pleasant. second I had 3 separate orders and all things were right and delicious. MY MOM LOVED HER BLUEBERRY PANCAKES. MYBROTHER LOVED HIS SNICKERS FRENCH TOAST AND MY FRIEND LOVED HER SHRIMP GRITS. I took My family their food at 3 differentlocations and by the time I got home my food was still warm and delicious. THE BEST BREAKFAST ever. This place is a hidden gem.They got themselves 10 new customers. I was on assignment to take a few pictures of their dishes and I was pleasantly surprised how good this food looked. The... crabcakes are awesome. The chef/owner Gregory Who lives locally and has six children, studied at Schoolcraft College under thefamous Brian Polcyn. This place is clean and the service is very friendly. I really think you will be delighted to dine here.Hello there is anything you can take away from the reviews you read here is that I go to a ton of restaurants and I knowquality. Food was not cooked well at all. I had grits that were tasteless! My daughter had an omelette that was not cooked completely... which also included a piece of hair. You can always tell when the cook doesn’t have a love for cooking and preparing a nicemeal! Read more
