This location and company doesn?t even deserve a 1 star I wish I could give -10 stars!!! The absolute disregard of customer... service is beyond me! I purchased a 25.00 gift card for my cousin in March for her birthday! I gave her the card and when sheattempted to use it, the card was showing 0 balance!! EMBARRASSING RIGHT! I contacted the store and spoke to Jose? in April, whoverified in the system on the date of the purchase that there was an actual transaction where I was charged for a smoothie andand 25.00 for a gift card. He advised me to come into the store to have the card scanned to show proof that the money was neverused. So I had to get the card back from my cousin. And go back into the store at a convenient time for me as I do not live inthe area! When I made it into the store in July, I was told the card was not active, and the store manager at the time had noway of looking back at the transaction history to confirm my purchase. I advised of speaking with Jose about the issuepreviously, and explained that I brought the card in after being instructed by him, to do so, to have a different card issued.The lead at the time, said they did not have any physical gift cards to give me and advised me to go to another tropicalsmoothie location on evergreen to get the card from there and they could load it for me. I went to that store a week later andthe lead there said she was unaware of why the lead at the Southfield road location would tell me to do that as that is notsomething they can do. I then went back to the Southfield road store a week after that with the new gift card and the originallynever loaded gift card, and was told by the same lead who instructed me to go to the evergreen store that I would need tocontact corporate. I asked her why she could not add the 25.00 to the new gift card and she advised because I didn?t have areceipt proving my purchase of the gift card I needed to contact corporate. Customer Appreciation is April 6-14. Smoothie $3.99 add ons $0.99...this location act as if they are unaware. They are still... charging regular price. I asked for the manager, young lady said she was the manager & her general manager did not make heraware of customer appreciation. She said people have been asking about it but she knows nothing of it. I will be contactingcorporate. Other locations are honoring it but if you don't know they will charge you regular price. Why not be far to people.This is not acceptable. It's sad that these businesses have to continue to hire incompetent people. There is no way everytimeyou get the same smoothie it taste totally different. This use to be the best location NOT anymore....I'm officially DONE withthis location.
