Per a suggestion from a close friend(which I dragged her here with me lol) we took a 1.2hr ride to Downriver to have the... experience! BOY WAS IT WORTH IT! I started with a large bowl of Guacamole(a lil under seasoned but very fresh!) Ordered theAppetizer Queso Birria Pizza(it was HUGE, JUICY, TASTY & worth every penny) I didn't know the QBP was that large so I said whatthe heck they're known for Torta BOY did I ever get a TORTA! I ordered the Cuban and this sandwich was soooo flavorful, meaty,and worth every cent! Service was excellent, owners daughter heard me say the the fries were cold and POOOF another order of hotfries appeared! Crystal(our server) was personable and her Mom makes the Birria(I wanna be invited to her Mom's house for anyspecial occasion!) The Consummé was Rich, Meaty, perfectly seasoned and had such a deep beefy flavor that you know that camefrom the pot she cooked the meat in! Galinda's you've made a customer for life outta me! I recently visited their food truck at my city's annual festival and the food was delicious! I tried their chicken corn tacos,... their quesadillas, and my favorite the Cubana Tortas. Everything was on point and the staff was very friendly. I will gladly gettheir food again! Read more
The back of their menu is all tortas. There?s a lot of choices. I went the Española today which was breaded steak, chorizo,... egg, cheese, & all of the usual torta fixings. The bread is wonderful too. They?re HUGE sandwiches so bring someone to sharewith or take the other half home. Read more
I came here because I seen someone post on fb that they had birria tacos. Unfortunately they did not have them or any birria... items and just to make sure I asked the girl at the counter and she said no. Anyway I ended up ordering chicken taco dinnerdeluxe. She said deluxe came with sour cream tomato and cheese. I asked for no tomato. The chicken was good but they did not addsour cream. The rice was bland and they did not give me very much and the beans were good. I don?t fault them for not havingwhat i originally wanted that was just to inform. I just got a pretty basic meal so just on what I had it was just ok. I may inthe future go back and try something else. Read more
Went here for the first time today and made a big pick up order. The woman on the phone was friendly, nice and got everything... down right. They made it really fast. Nothing was missing and we did have some changes that we asked for in each of the items,and it was all done correctly how we asked. And on top of it, the food was delicious. We will definitely be returning to thisrestaurant again in the future! Read more
1st visit here ! I got the flour taco dinner it was really good, not over seasoned perfectly perfect. Dined in and out waitress... was tentative and very pleasant, nice atmosphere with authentic music playing in the background. Prices were reasonable. Will beback soon ! Read more
Pretty fast, they used to have glass coke bottles for you to drink it was very cool but they changed to plastic cans so that?s... kinda sad. I love the variety of the food and it?s super tasty! Price is pretty good and it?s super cute in here! Read more
It's hard to get Birra Tacos in Upstate New York. This was a treat that was so much needed. The dipping sauce was on point. I... recommend getting some queso to put on the tacos and then dip it in the sauce. It's a life-changing experience! Read more
