This is the worst Panda Express downriver for portion sizes. You will always get a minimal amount of food. If you by chance get... a new employee who gives you a ?decent? serving size, the lady working the drive threw, who I assume is the manager will pullthem to the side, and tell them that they gave you too much food, and that they need to work on that.(She?s there pretty mucheveryday) I?m done with this Panda Express. This has been the case the last several times I?ve been there. Their dining room israndomly closed all the time too. Don?t waste your money here. They care more about penny pinching, and giving you the leastamount of food possible. Read more
Food was just ok but the portions were half the amount i would get at Woodhaven or anywhere else I get it. I'm from Canada and... always get Panda when there. Was excited that there was a location close to where I often shop. I will now pay the extra moneyin gas to go to another location. Very very dissatisfied with this location. Suggest another location if you want your properamount of food you pay for. Bought 4 entrees through drive thru. Never again. Read more
Only gave one star because I had too. Horrible service? Ordered two plates, only received eating utensils for 1. No condiments... that I requested. Two Meals one fortune cookie. Opened the plates up and the meals looked like they gave us the bottom of whatwas left before closing. Little pieces of chicken small a pea. More onions than chow mein noodles. 4 pieces of small broccoli inthe broccoli beef. Then when called, they refused to give me the managers name. Not bad it's just the wait. Never had anything weird in my food just sometimes the wait is long but I rather have the food... cooked so, can't complain too much. Read more

This Place needs to get it's act together. Lobby closed at 11:22am, when asked why they said "we're not opening it yet", though... it says it opens at 11am. But what do I know, I'm just the customer. So okay, I go through the drive thru and place an order,and shocker, 24 minutes after opening they didn't have the common menu items like grilled teriyaki chicken and told me it wouldbe a 15-20 minute wait. Why are you even opening at 11am if you're not ready?! I won't come back here. This is the 3rd time hereand every time it's some excuse why they don't have it together. I've never once had a problem with the Woodhaven or MonroePanda Express, but Southgate is a joke. Corporate should be embarrassed. Food is good though. Read more
DO NOT RECOMMEND! Panda Fanatic here, visiting every month in cities on our drive from Michigan to North Carolina to wherever... there is one on our travels through the US. THIS IS THE WORST of the WORST Panda Express I've ever been to. Dining room isclosed so only drive thru available, but even with only drive thru it takes them 11 mins per car (times it myself) and theyonly take orders one car at a time. I have visited this Panda 4 times prior to writing this review in order to be sure it wasntjust a one day screw up, this is a normal thing at this location. Twice, when finally reached the speaker (25 mins later) theywere out of half the items on the menu and another 10 to 15 min wait for items.. makes no sense as I have friends who managePanda Express Stores in other cities in Michigan and they have explained the process, times, etc. Therefore they are lying orjust lazy at this location. When recieved food it is always taste like old sitting food. This is a new location as of a year agoand I'm not sure how long itll last if it continues this bad... The food was cold. The portions were out of wack. Rice was not filled up to the top. Teriyaki chicken...no teriyaki on it.... Orange chicken, all breading. Beef and broccoli, no beef. Only about 10%beef 90% broccoli. Nice people, food was done quick butthe food wasn't worth the cost. $35 for 5 containers that weren't full or any good. Read more
