New Year...New Weight gain. This spot was a very random ting I seem on yelp and decided to test it out due to all the good... reviews. As you can see 5 stars BUT do yourself the favor and do not eat here in the winter your chest chips will freeze to yourshirt and your skin will get freezer burn. It felt like i was sitting inside of the freezer. ANYWHO speaking of freezer. Thisspot must be fishing and serving as they go from how fresh and scrumptious the fish was. The sushi was so perfect and freshthere was seriously no words for it. I spent about $100 on dinner here and I telly a what. I'd do it again. The staff ishonestly the sweetest people ever, very humorous and fun. They gave me and my honey a scoop of green tea ice cream on the house.I love green tea ice cream. Nice little sushi restaurant in downtown Southington. I ended up ordering the steak habichi lunch which I enjoyed greatly. I... requested my steak to be cooked medium and it was spot on and I also got the spicy tuna roll which ended up being barley spicy.However, it was still delicious. My husband and I checked out this new sushi place a couple weeks ago for our anniversary. I don’t think we have had such a... great dining experience in years! The service was five stars, the food was five stars, can I give more than five stars? For thelast several years when we go out for sushi we usually enjoy some rolls but others we are not impressed with. Every single thingthat we ordered was incredible. I’m looking forward to when we can go again. Hopefully they’ll have their liquor license bythen and I can enjoy some sake as well. Oh, and don’t sleep on the Sushi sandwich appetizer. Yum! Read more
Happy this restaurant is close to home. Their teriyaki steak and chicken bento lunch boxes are delicious. Sushi tastes fresh and... has great flavor. best sushi EVER!! Already been here twice with friends and family… so far we’ve had the miso soup, seaweed salad, salmon... skin salad, avocado salad, edamame, eel avocado roll, eel and duck bao buns, all sashimi, rainbow Naruto, and the Southingtonroll. All of these dishes are a must try, especially the rainbow Naruto if you are looking for something light and fresh. Thechef is exceptional and the owner is amazing and will make sure you leave being satisfied! I’ve eaten good sushi in Japan, and this place could hold its own there. You can actually taste the freshness of the fish.... They even have the most elusive item, otoro tuna. And the plate presentations are like sculptures. Not at all what I wasexpecting from a small, hole in the wall, mostly takeout restaurant in a random suburb in the middle of Connecticut. Read more
