Ordered lamb biriyani. Doesent taste like real byriani. 10 small pieces of oversalted meat and completely unsalted rice.... Container is half empty so not alot of food for sure. Definitely a ripoff. Other indian places give way more meat and containersare full. Read more

Fantastic and authentic food! Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. The chapli and shami kababs are real stand-outs,... probably the best I’ve ever had. Truly a pleasant place to eat and smile. The owners are sweet and hardworking. Although the place is small and the hours are... weird for a restaurant, it is worth to get in and taste the food. We also ordered some biryani which they gave us fresh onSunday when the restaurant was closed. Forgot to take a picture before we finished it but nothing was left at the end. Reallyappreciated the effort put into customer service. Must Try. Read more

I am so happy I discovered this spot. It is completely devoid of any commercial gimmicks a lot of Indian/Pakistani restaurants... use in their recipes. It is SO FRESH. Classical recipes without any twists and turns, served exactly the way they’re supposedto be served. We ordered the chicken biryani. So sumptuous without being sticky. So spicy without throwing the entire spicerack into it. Aromatic and delicate. One of the best I’ve had - better than any in NYC or Philly by far. Better than many ofthe more commercial kitchens in Edison. Also, not to mention the absolutely outstanding chaapli kababs and lamb korma. Thekorma is how my grandma used to make it in Lucknow. You can tell it gathered a little more color in Pakistan. Lastly, I wishthey would figure out how to open a franchise in Brooklyn. It is so required. But Nina does all her own cooking, so it’s a bitof a puzzle to solve, but I hope they find someone great to solve this with soon. Lots of best wishes to this duo! Read more

Went here for dinner on recommendations of a friend. My group and I were not at all acquainted w/ Pakistani food and made our... menu selections on a "well, this sounds good!" basis...we were not disappointed. Everything we had was good; some of ourselections included the lamb korma, chicken handi, the tawa naan, and the beef kababs. The food was excellent w/ just amount ofspice! The owners were both very friendly, and they were patient with us while we figured out the menu. Highly, highly recommendNina's to anyone looking to try Pakistani cuisine or just looking for a good meal in general. The storefront is rather small soI'd recommend take-out for larger groups, but credit to both the owners for how well they make the space work. Read more
