Reviews for Riverbend Pizza and restaurant in Southington, CT

I decided to buy pizza based on reviews. I have to say never again. I called in for a bacon and hot peppers, and extra cheese.... To my surprise jalapeños were the only hot peppers they sold. When I opened the pizza box, there were chopped up jalapeñosthat tasted pickled as is they were out of a jar. Also, There was only like 4 small slices of bacon. Definitely disappointed. Not a good pie. Oh yeah, did I mention I paid 20 bucks for a small pie?? I guess I won't be going back. Best of luck. Read more

Since the new owners took over the prices went up at least $2-3. Also, the service not as good. I do like the blonde waitress...... She is very sweet and friendly. But.. Very disappointed. I ordered a medium pizza and a dozen wings and the quality was very poor and extremely over-priced.

The five stars I posted 4 years ago was for the old owners. Since the new owners have taken over in the last few months the... prices have soared to the moon! You should?ve really change the name of the restaurant, because you?re not the Riverbendeverybody knows and you?re going to taint the name. Read more

I ordered delievery for the first time. I had a coupon for two 12 inch grinders and they were supposed to come with chips and 2... sodas. When i called the women didnt seem to know how to take orders, Had to call another guy to do the order and it still cameout wrong. I ordered a steak and cheese with green peppers and lettuce and mayo. Ended up getting steak and cheese with a bunchof lettuce and zero peppers or mayonaise. My friend ordered a turkey grinder with lettuce tomato onion mayo and she ended upgetting a turkey with a ton of lettuce with zero mayo. If someone is going to be handeling delieveries they should be welltrained before hand. They couldnt even find the coupoon i was using and i think they ignored it completely. First time trying their pizza. I did enjoy it. I'll be going back to try out the rest of their menu for sure.

We had my wife's birthday party here. They were extremely accommodating. Very helpful and attentive to our group of about 25... people. The food was very good and plentiful. We all had enough to eat. A very good experience. Read more
