Been coming here for years. Went with my wife today (9/29/22) for a large pizza, wings and 2 diet cokes. The bill without tip... came to $45. When i looked at the reciept, we were charged $8 for two diet cokes. I feel scammed. In what universe is that areasonable price? This is going to make us think twice before coming here again, which is disapointing because we love theplace. Read more
(Last visited 10/22/2021.) So I've seen this place get mentioned in The Wingaddicts Facebook group a couple of times so Bae and... I made our way here to check this place out and here's how it went! Atmosphere/Appearance: As soon as you walk in this placewraps you up and hugs you. It feels warm, welcoming and it invites you in. There's a lot of stone walls, a little bit of woodand warm, yellow lighting. There are several sections of the restaurant and navigating them CAN be a bit confusing forfirst-timers, but it's not that bad. Service: I can't remember who took care of us, but she was great. There was nothing tocomplain about and she made sure that we had everything we needed. Food: Now, for the main event! This place is REALLY wellknown for their wood-fired pizzas that have such a unique flavor, but we are here for the wings. The Fire Place offers wings in6 flavors, but only in 1 size and you can only get 1 flavor per order. So we ended up with 2 flavors, the original "Fire PlaceWings" and their Spicy Garlic flavor. When I tell you I was absolutely blown away by every aspect of of these wings I mean. Thetexture, flavor, spice, size, everything. These are literally some of the best wings I've ever had. This is exactly what I meanwhen I say wings that aren't fried take you to new worlds! I did prefer the original flavor to the the spicy garlic, but ithonestly didn't matter. I MUST come back to try the other 4 flavors and to film them for my channel! We also split a SpinaciSalad which contains spinach, red onions, Mandarin oranges, pecans, Gorganzola cheese and served with a raspberry vinaigrette.That too was crisp, fresh, deliciously sweet and filling. Value: Each order of wings is $15.99 and comes with a dozen. For whatyou get they're absolutely worth the money. For sure. The salad was $11.99 for the large. In conclusion, I loved this place. First time trying their pizza and not impressed. I ordered a large Hawaiian pizza and a large mashed potato pizza. Both pizzas... ended up being over $50.00 ..Barely any toppings.. the Hawaiian pizza was mostly just a cheese pizza with a few pieces oftoppings thrown unevenly on the pizza and also tasted pretty salty. Mashed potato pizza the toppings was also very uneven andnot enough toppings tasted like one tiny piece of bacon. The crusts on both pizzas was very thin the Hawaiian pizza was halfburnt and the mashed potato pizza was undercooked and doughy. Hopefully they make improvements to their pizza ..but I have nodesire to go back to The Fireplace for pizza ever again. Read more
I ordered BBQ smoked wings and a Margherita pizza for takeout. A member of my party has a serious allergy to fresh garlic, so we... were glad to see nothing listed. They gave me parmesan garlic wings, and the pizza had chunks of garlic covering it, which wasnot mentioned on the menu as a topping (which most places do). I could not go back; I live an hour away. Good beer (with delicious blueberries) nice staff? However the pizza was much too expensive for the quality unfortunately! It... wasn?t terrible but it was underdone, soggy, and doughy.
