Joe's is hands down the best New York style pizza and Italian restaurant in town. Can't wait to visit South Lake again so we can... eat at Joes. Read more

I order from Joe’s pizza once a month, usually great experience. Today was horrible. I ordered “an Xlarge margarita with... mushroom” for pickup and was charged $28.90. Seemed high since Xlarge costs $16. I asked about the pricing. The old man at thecounter said that’s what a white pizza cost plus one topping. I tried to find “white pizza” on the menu and it’s nowhereto be found. He then proceeded rudely “it is a custom pizza so the same as specialty pizza, and you paid what you ordered”. (ok, since when margarita pizza has become custom?). At that point, I already paid and just wanted to understand the pricing. Iasked if it’s the same as specialty pizza (which come with all the toppings), why do you charge for extra topping. The old manstarted yelling that he rather gave my money back to never have me showing up in the restaurant again”, all in front of my 6year-old kid. This happened ONLY because I asked nicely how he came up with the price. At that point, I just left the shopbecause the old man was so rude and condescending. Lastly, this is what they called a margarita pizza + mushroom. What’s upwith all the spinach and “non-mozzarella white cheese” on the pizza? Laughable for a pizzeria that prides itself withNY-style pizza and SHAME on you for the rudeness and attitude. Read more

The restaurant was clean and well maintained. To the service was friendly and helpful. We received our food in a reasonable... amount of time and enjoyed the food. The restaurant is in a corner shopping area off hwy 114 next to a gas station, so theshopping center is very busy and there is not much parking. Because of the gas station, there is a lot of trucks pullingtrailers trying to maneuver around tight corners and parked vehicles. Just be aware of the parking and parking lot issues. Read more

So incredibly overpriced, the $12 "super" sub came with almost nothing on it at all, maybe 3-4 slices of meat with incredibly... thick and chewy bread and a handful of lettuce, peppers, and tomatoes. The pizza is ok but almost $4 a slice for greasypepperoni. Would not recommend. Read more
