I'd give it a zero if I could.... Worst experience ever. Our waiter, Mark, was inattentive and downright AWFUL! We made... reservations weeks in advance for my husband’s birthday. We arrived on time with our 2 girls (6 and 8) ready for a nicebirthday meal. We were seated right away and it was downhill from there. 5-10 minutes went by before we were checked on. Longdelays in checking in, taking our orders, etc. 2hrs later we were STILL waiting for our meals… our poor 6yr old fell asleepin our booth. We left and will NEVER go back. The food was really good. The salsa comes out warm, so I really enjoyed that. The service was great. I find during lunch so... there was not a long line or a wait. The prices are custom to those at a steak house. This was my 2nd visit and I truly enjoyedit. Read more
Our time at Kirby’s was splendid and memorable! We had a wonderful experience celebrating our anniversary. The martinis,... food, and cuisine was delicious and exquisite! Our waitress Adrienne was attentive, friendly, and caring - she knows whathospitality means. We were delighted when Teddy and Astrid visited our table - you can tell that there is a One-Team approach aseveryone helped one another. The whole experience was personalized, everyone knew we were there to celebrate our specialoccasion. We will be back very soon. It was my first time eating Kirby's last Friday, I made an 8:30 PM reservation for my birthday just my boyfriend and I. We are... both food connoisseurs, we were on an adventure to find a new place to have great quality Steak. We arrived at 8:00 PM, thestaff was able to seat us early and it was very busy. I knew I wanted a Filet Mignon, my boyfriend ordered the Steak and Cakewith a side of Au gratin Potatoes. He also had their soup of the day (I believe it was a lobster and cheese? I could be wrong)but he said that was amazingly good. When they brought out our food, everything was piping hot and delicious. My steak wasovercooked. but the manager quickly threw another one and made us fresh potatoes. When they brought out the new steak, Icouldn't believe how silky this meat felt in my mouth. It was almost like butter melting, so decadent I can't even begin toexplain how different this experience was compared to ANY high end steak place we have been to. They even brought out a piece offresh chocolate cake with a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream on top with chocolate syrup and pecans. If I could give our waiterArmando 10 stars, I would. From the second we walked in on Friday night we had the most amazing service!!! Mani was our waiter and was amazing!!! The... waitress in the bar area amazing!! Manager amazing!!! First time at Kirby's. We really enjoyed our meal as well as the friendliness of the staff. Richard was awesome! Oysters were... delicious and you can't beat dipping their sourdough bread into that lobster-car-go sauce ????. Bone-in filet and sea bass werewonderful as well. We'll definitely be back! Read more
Kirbys is one of the first steak houses in Dallas, and they still hold a unique and rustic flair. Their meals are delicious, and... the staff is courteous, accommodating and knowledgeable about their menu. If you’re in this part of town I would highlyrecommend that you stop by and have a meal here. The ribeyes are a perfect blend of meat and fat, creating a sumptuous marblingand a rich flavor throughout. The seasonings are simple allowing the flavor of the meat to shine through. The steaks wereperfect temperature and the Seabass was extraordinary. The plating is what you would expect from a high-end restaurant verymagnificent presentation of the Seabass, and a simple presentation for the steak. They have two types of mac & cheese on themenu, one being the traditional lobster mac & cheese and the other being a jalapeño mac & cheese. The lobster mac & cheese wasabsolutely delicious, a rich cheese flavor and perfectly cooked noodles with a balance of a well steamed lobster. The jalapeñomac & cheese is a rich green color reminding me of pesto however the flavor is strong and spicy, allowing you to really capturethe heat of the jalapeño while not overpowering the cheese. They have a fantastic Caesar salad which is perfectly dressedthroughout and well proportioned. In addition their au gratin potatoes are a fantastic choice for those looking for a starch.And all I would highly recommend are you trying this restaurant. Read more
