My wife and I were picking up our kid in the area and found ourselves with an hour to kill . We don’t go to Grapevine a lot... and we drove around and thought this place looked like a good place to try. We were very pleased with our whole experience. Itwas a very pleasant atmosphere and tables had adequate room. Our waiter Carlos was one of those waiters that make a goodexperience amazing. He was attentive and patient without being overly fussy. Very nice and professional. The food wasdelicious. We got quesadillas and they were perfect. I had the brisket and it was the best I have ever had. First time going to this restaurant and the crispy chicken tacos were delicious! However when I asked for a bean and cheese taco... on flour tortilla that was a bit of a struggle to get the taco and the taste was the same. My husband said the salsa tasted moreof cilantro than anything else but it did have a kick to it. I enjoyed the spice. We had to add some salt, just a little, tomake it taste better though. Those were the only things I tried and the menu had a lot of great options. I'll definitely go backfor the crispy tacos and recommend you to try more of the items on the menu. Wife and I stopped in for lunch on a whim after getting her some new shoes nearby. We ordered a bowl of queso and it was a lot... of queso. The flavor was good, not great, but we almost didn't finish it there was so much. Definitely enough for 4 to enjoy.The chips were quality. The food was very good. Best chicken enchilada I've had in quite some time, normally I don't like thesour cream based sauce on a chicken enchilada, but this was excellent sauce. The only issue we had was that the Dr. pepper wasflat, we just ordered Cokes after that a d they were fine, I'm sure that's not usually a problem. This is one of our favorite go to spots. We've always had good service and great food. Chips are served warm, salsa has a nice... kick and the menu variety is fantastic! We've been as a family and for date night, it works for both! Read more
Eh, it was ok. The enchiladas were on par with any other microwave version. The queso blanco was either spoiled or over heated... because it had a strange consistency. My husband had sour cream and guacamole with his meal both seemed to have some age tothem. Read more
Swirl margaritas was good and beer was cold in frozen mug. Had the beef fajita nachos and quesadillas. Fresh and tasty.
I recently ate here with my Mom while we were visiting from Oklahoma. My mother has lived in Dallas, and she highly recommended... this place. I can see why. I could have made my meal on just the chips and salsa!!! That has got to be the best salsa I've everhad, and wish I could make it! I tapped out after the amazing ceviche. You can tell everything is fresh, and prepared withgreat detail.. Our server Adrian was really attentive and welcoming. I felt bad as it was only he, and one other server doingall they could to ensure great service for everyone. He was fantastic! I work in the service industry, and given the "covidera", restaurants are doing ALL they can to provide for their customers, while being short staffed.
