Truluck's is our special occasion go to place. The food, service and ambiance is 5 star all the way. Reservations are strongly... recommended. Be sure to bring a big appetite as you want to try lots of wonderful food. The Stone Crab Claws are a must have foran appetizer. The wine list is very good and the bar is spot on. You can't go wrong with either the beef or seafood. But youmust save room for dessert. Bar none, they have the BEST Carrot Cake. It comes with spiced pecans and caramel sauce. And it'shuge. We have them split it in the kitchen, eat half there and take half home. If you can only afford this once, then dine thereonce. I should have taken more photos. Read more

Truluck's always offers a fine dining experience and the Southlake restaurant was no exception. The reservation was done for a... celebration and the restaurant made sure to live upto their standards. Service was impeccable. Andrew gave us good options ontheir selection of wines. The bread at the restaurant is made fresh and tasted great. All the food tasted delicious - thewedge salad, lobster bisque and their calamari were exquisite. Tried the Miso-glazed seabass for the main course and it wasgreat. The atmosphere of the restaurant is perfect for a quite evening of fine dining. Valet parking is available or you canchoose to self park in the Southlake mall. Pricing : Fine dining rates. They are over priced but you pay for the specialdining experience. We had a gorgeous meal here for my birthday! The live music was tasteful and ambient, we were greeted and sat promptly. Jermaine... was our server and he was a delight, executed patience with our table as we mulled over the wine and food menus. He also madegreat recommendations. The steak was perfectly cooked, as expected. The sea bass was out of this world and the yellow tail wasdecadent. We highly recommend the key lime pie if you have room for dessert. This is a high end restaurant, that said the service was off. It was clear that our waiter was overwhelmed. It took about 12... minutes to get a welcome visit and quite some gaps in service from then on. Even the check took a while. The food was ok. Notreally up.to the price scale. We had a reservation for 8, so we were able to sample many dishes. Ironically, the meatballs andthe variety oysters in the appetizer menu were the best of all the dishes we had, including dinner. I recall dining here priorto the pandemic and it being a much better experience. Being a high end place, that should not be the case. Read more

Been one of our favorite for years now! Went for anniversary on Saturday, and Trulucks served to please! Bar area fun, great... drinks and always good service from Juan! Hostess very pleasant and was going to sit us in a booth near window and noticed itwas our anniversary and took us to other location with a little more privacy. They also have lighted menu’s which make itperfect to read! My husband was looking forward to Stone Crab and got his wish! He said they were excellent and my sea bassdinner was excellent too!
