Great food, but the prices for the gourmet pies have become way too high. Perhaps the business has some justification for this,... but it’s crazy to be spending over 70 dollars for 2 relatively small pies after tip and tax. Fortunately the shop is in awealthy area so maybe most people don’t care or notice, but I’m now unlikely to order from them despite being a frequentcustomer in the past. I can get two yummy pies plus cheesy garlic bread for just over 40 dollars at Nauti Dolphin. Not the samestyle of pizza, but satisfies me the same. Read more

Went in to get one side of jalepeno poppers we were the only customers. First thing I noticed was an employee with long brown... hair sitting on break obviously glaring at us(she looked disgusted). Then after almost 20 mins still no sign of our food and theemployees were just standing around, went to ask about them and they were sitting in the back already in a bag yet no onebrought it to us. Service was awful Read more

One of the thinnest, crispiest, best crusts and superb sauce on the Margherita and plain cheese was perfection as well. Really... pleasant subdued lighting and super nice staff. Read more

I ordered a small shrimp casino and a salad. Was quoted a price but when I got there they tried to charge me an additional $9.00... ????. There justification was that their prices had gone up and they hadn't adjusted the menu ????.....right smh. I just walkedout and im pretty sure they hadn't even started making the pizza!! Read more

I come from Greenwich to Southport for this Pizza after I accidentally fell upon this gem of a place. This is one of the best... Pizzas you will ever eat and I would compare it favorably with the best Manhattan Pizzerias. There pizza is thin crust (unlessyou pay extra for the thick crust), just the way I like it. Try the Margherita which was amazing. Met Sammy and tried toconvince him to open a place in Greenwich but to his credit, he is content with work life balance and keep this one locationonly. I hope to go back to Sammy's again real soon, especially if I'm out east a bit. Read more

Sammy’s has been our “go to” for 20 plus years. Awesome pizza, salads, pasta and meals. Comfortable place to eat in or... take out. Sammy goes out of his way to recognize everyone as a friend and “regular”. Good people. Heck, he delivershimself! Our families joke about my wife is that we have ate Italian literally around the world and in the finest spots...Nomatter what’s on the menu and how long she scrutinizes it, mom ALWAYS gets Chicken Parmigiana! Her favorite ChickenParmigiana? 1 mile away in little Southport Center at Sammy’s Southport Pizza! Read more

The pizza was delicious, however, we had some unfortunate issues with service. We ordered a 12" white margarita pizza with a... small cajun salad. However, we were served a regular margarita pizza, as well as a cajun chicken pizza instead of the salad. Wedecided to eat them anyway, since we didn't want to waste the food by sending it back. After paying, another guy from Sammy'scame out and followed us down the street, and told us that we didn't pay them. He began calling his manager on the phone, untilwe sorted things out when I got back into Sammy's. tl;dr: Great pizza, but a gamble on service Read more
