What a find! Terrific asian inspired menu, not at all what you might expect from a bar and grill. Plus a full menu of bourbons,... whiskeys and craft cocktails. I couldn?t stay long so I ordered the dumplings from the appetizer menu. Not frozen, very tastyand it came with fresh wasabi and ginger! Who does that? Nice people, nice place great food. We had party of 8, and were sat right down. But it is a smaller place so might want to call ahead if you have a larger group.... The drink I got was called the pain killer. Lived up to the name, lol. Strong, but good. Ordered the chicken and steak lo meinand it was fabulous, even my 3 year old daughter loved it. My 11 year old son said that the burger he got was the best he'd everhad. Out of the 8 of us there was no complaints and everyone raved about how good their meal was. We will definitely be back! Read more
Tuna tacos and shrimp tacos are absolutely delicious! Perfectly seared, fresh ingredients, filling, affordable. They also have... fun tshirts and beers to try! Salsa that comes with chips is hands down best I've had in a while, it's sweet, spicy and fresh.Very unique! Bar environment is friendly and chill, also outdoor patio and table seating available. I felt like a tourist eatinghere and enjoyed every minute! Will certainly be back. Staff is doing an awesome job! Janna served us behind the bar and she isvery attentive, friendly and helpful. Southport's hidden jem. Have been going since Chuck & Nikki took it over, and have never been disappointed, not even once. ... It's a small restaurant, with a large northern customer base, so it can get quite loud in there when they're busy. The staff isfriendly, knowledgeable, and inviting. We love Janna at the bar, and Ashley is a sweetheart too. The food is, how can I put it? Phenomenal! Always fresh and delicious. Their delicious daily specials, cocktails, and homemade desserts are to die for. Doyourself a favor, and give them a try. Just save me a seat. Read more
Stopped in after running an errand near Southport and, despite it being winter, the place was full. But it was mild enough to... sit outside, and we were greeted and seated quickly! The inside is cozy and lively. The menu has a really neat pub/thai/fishtaco flair. The service was excellent, the food was delicious. We had dumplings to share that were gobbled up almost too quickfor a picture. I had the tom kha gai soup, and they happily brought me a large dose of spice to add to it. And finally, thecurry bowl was PERFECT and really hit the spot. This was quite a find and we can't wait to get back. Read more
Great food and great prices!! Everything is fresh and full of flavor. The lemongrass curry is very flavorful and the portion is... huge. It also comes with lots of vegetables and whatever protein you choose. My other party member said the Baja tacos were alsoreally good. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. The food was great! We started with the jumbo pretzel, then got the blackened... tuna tacos and Bahn Mi. Everything was excellent, and there were many more tempting items on the menu I look forward to tryingin the future. I'd definitely recommend this little place! Read more
