We knew we were going to have a wait. So, we braced ourselves and didn't balk at the hour long wait we were told. We bought a... couple of beers from the bar and admired the view while sipping on the cold brews. To our surprise, we were seated after 20minutes! I find that couples are easier to sit than a table of 6 or more. The wait staff is so friendly and efficient. Theyoung man checked on us every 10 minutes. They were very busy, and it took a while for the food to come out of the kitchen, butwhat cam out was outstanding. The best grilled shrimp I have had in the U.S. My boyfriend's sirloin was awesome, too. Thesweet potato fries were great, and so the bread with the apple butter. What a great find for a good meal. Highly recommend and it was a perfect day for it to sit outside and enjoy. Family had... burgers, wife had turkey, doesn't count, buy she said it was delicious, and juicy, not dry. Staff was excellent, friendly,attentive. The first thing I?ll say is that the food was super tasty, we got the crab dip and some fish. I would highly recommend trying... it; however, we arrived at the restaurant around 7 p.m. and we were not seated until 8:15. We did not receive our food until9:40 p.m. meaning, even after being seated, we had nearly an hour and a half wait for our food. Went evening of 1/29/22 and there were 4 of us. Called ahead and confirmed with the restaurant that masks are recommended if... customers weren't vaccinated, and servers and staffs who aren't wearing a mask were fully vaccinated. Our server Logan was verypatient and introduced us the specials not on the menu, and we ordered a basket of onion rings, one vege burger and 3 bourbonbarbecue bacon burgers. Onion rings came as appetizer, after that it took a while for burgers to arrive and we noticed nearlyall tables were seated. Our drinks were refilled and looks like all waiting staffs attended their customers, we didn't seeanyone just standing or chatting. All four burgers came with gracious amount of side (regular fries, and sweet potato fries),the burgers were cooked to the temp we ordered. Upon ordering, Logan mentioned the burger either won title/or was superrecommended, it wasn't hard to see why. Over all really pleasant experience Restaurant didn't pressured people to wear or notto wear mask while measuring both customers and staffs' health at the same time. Our foods were great even with the wait, andall staffs seem to be handle not only us, but everyone in the restaurant with great manner. We debated 2 or 3 stars as the staff are very nice and the service was great. Gabi was a great server, attended to our needs and... is not why we rated 3 stars. The issue is we started the evening with the hostess telling us the wait was 90 minutes BUT severalparties had left rather than wait so she anticipated the wait being much shorter. We grabbed some beers and sat outside at apicnic table. 2 hours later we were finally seated. The food was ok. Fish was bland with the exception of the crab claw specialrecommended by Gabi. The garlic, ginger, red pepper oil on the claws was very tasty. Plating of food was plain and notaesthetically pleasing. Fish tacos, jerk chicken, Mahi blt wrap, fried pickles and Red fish special were good, but along thelines of what I could prepare at home. Key lime pie was good. Dark and rusty and margarita were poorly made and not strong. Barwas significantly understaffed. Although we didn't expect a Michelin rated restaurant, at $50 per person and a 2 hour wait, weexpected something more than we could whip together at home. Read more
