I've been going to Tropical Smoothie for many years but a number of locations. I have purchased from this particular location... about a dozen times since it's opened and the smoothie and sandwich were always spot on perfect. God just a smoothie today, gotmy regular which is a Chia banana no peanut butter no peach or anything just that she had banana but adding two shots of ginger.It's always really good. This time however it was the most horrible smoothie I've ever had anywhere including other companies! Idon't know what was wrong with it or what was left out or went bad or what but it was horrible. It had no taste whatsoever justtext her I could barely taste the gingers on thinking maybe only one shot of Ginger was in it and that's okay that happenssometimes. I don't mind that kind of human error but did not taste banana or fig or the other ingredients? And it had a veryalmost acidic sour aftertaste to it which I've never had at all from any Tropical Smoothies. Like, I can't even begin to figureout what could have gone wrong with this but it was the most disgusting smoothie I've had in my life to the point where I'mhesitant if I will return to that Tropical Smoothie again which makes me very sad because it is only 10 minutes out of the waybetween my two morning job sites and I look forward to that. The staff member, I think she might be the manager actually, wasprofessional and pleasant as always. Everything else there was great as always but I literally was nauseous for a couple hoursat the drinking just a small amount of that smoothie. I was almost going to give a two stars just because everything else wasgreat but that smooth was so bad nothing else experience wise there today could have raised it above one star ratingunfortunately. Placed at online order for pick up. Website states location is open 7am-9pm. Was able to place my order, and reeived an order... confirmation stating my order would be ready for pick up. Upon arrival store was closed, no lights on inside, no one visiblyinside, & the open sign was also NOT on. Tried to call, and the number listed on the store?s website kept going to voicemailerror message. Went to work, kept trying to call without being able to reach anyone, and never heard from anyone either.Received an email for a survey, completed this survey with all the details of what happened. Shortly after I received a phonecall from a Lynn stating she got my email and that she didn?t understand what I was talking about because she had been theresince 6:30 and she could prove it. I explained to her that when I went there the open sign was not on and the inside of thebuilding was completely dark. She told me that I never came there and again she could prove it because she had been there since6:30. I then asked her why she was just calling at 11am from an order she made at 8am. She stated she didn?t see why anyonewould call me about an order that was paid for and left sitting for 3 hours. I asked for the number to the corporate office orsomeone over her and she stated ?I don?t know anything about corporate. Which lead me to ask who she was she stated she was thegeneral manager. I then asked for clarification about her being the gender manager and not having any information aboutcorporate or her manager. She then provided a number for her manager. I told her I would like a refund, she told me to ?justhave good day? then disconnected the phone. Read more

When going tonight I asked for a kids size smoothie because the regular is too large, the girl working the counter said she... could make them in any flavor, I got the sunrise sunset. Upon paying and looking at the menu better, I realized I was charged$6+ for a small smoothie. When I asked about the price difference, the same customer service representative said ?I don?t knowwhy it does that. It should have added a note to be a 12 ox smoothie.?, I asked what I could do since I was charged nearlydouble the price for less smoothie, (kids smoothies are 3.99), she said she is not sure. So I asked when a manager worked tospeak to and she said I?d have to come back tomorrow. Which I know a manager has to be on duty to have a store open, so one ofthe two working would have been able to properly handle the situation. I will not be making a special trip down there, but it isunfair for a company to not give customers the correct price on a smoothie. I was kind and left with saying thank you, becausethe two girls working were kind and did their job great, but will not be spending more money there to not get the proper priceadjustment. Read more

Every time I order lunch here online it?s supposed to be there when you get there. I end up waiting 30 min and one time I never... even got my food and I was late going back to work. Don?t count on them to fulfill your online orders just sayin Read more

Wait was 47 min for 2 grilled cheese sandwiches with just 4 food orders picked up before us during our wait time (and that was... with a couple of people dropping out and cancelling after waiting 30 + min). Lady who ordered online still had 30 min wait whenshe got there. Several of the customers were angry which I understand but I felt bad for the 3 people working. This is aowner/management issue. We would have appreciated staff telling us they were running 45 min to hr delay when we ordered. Thestaff were trying for sure but clearly they can?t manage this load. Recommend owner either help out and add staff or startblocking online orders or post for people before ordering that they are running so far behind. You simply can?t tell how thelong the wait will be when you come in based simply on number of people in store. Unfortunately this place is out for us forlunch moving forward. Gave 2 stars for food quality and effort by staff who we?re definitely trying. Read more

The staff is great and is working very hard. This review is for management and the owners ? you are clearly short staffed and... the staff that you do have is struggling. I know for a fact it is due to all of the online orders on top of the already busyatmosphere in the store. There were a lot of people waiting in line and for their food. If you do not have the man power to alsocarryout online orders then you shouldn?t force your employees to do that. That is very poor judgement and bad management. Don?tdo that to your employees, that is just sad and it shows how greedy a company you are. Read more

My order wasn't even acknowledged. I waited over 30 mins for my smoothies and food. After calling it in prior. I patiently... waited as I watched other people order after me and leave. I had to physically walk into the kitchen and ask for my food to bemade. Other people were waiting for long periods of time as well because pieces of their order were missing. Everything was disorganized and out of its place. I understand being short staffed is an issue.. After receiving my order I noticed my smoothiedid not taste as a Island detox should. I also added extras to my smoothie that I PAID for and did not receive them. I'm Highlydisappointed. Read more
