We go thru the line to get breakfast and we are placing our order and then asked to hold on. Then another person comes on the... mic and starts taking the our order again and then says immediately pull up to the second window without even asking if we hadanything else to order and this is what we get ?Well I?m not taking your order so one of the other girls needs to hurry up? sowe just told them to forget about our order so that they can fight over who?s take orders from customers and we drove off. The food is generally hot and typically not too long of a wait. Obviously that's not always the case it's understandable and... afternoons whenever they're slammed but really odd whenever it's the morning time it's past their opening time and they refuseto answer the drive-through. Even stranger is the times whenever they seem to answer and tell you that they're not open yet eventhough it's well over an hour past the time there schedule on the door says they're open. You have a 70/30 chance of getting apleasant cashier. A lot of times they're super nice and polite. But there's a few that tend to act like the customers are aninconvenience. I waited over 20 minutes in the Drive-Thru line and it only moved up one vehicle. I left without placing an order because the... line was extremely long to begin with. We tried to go inside but at 6:30 p.m. we were told the lobby was closed. I do notrecommend this location. Read more

Incredibly slow service. On every drive through visit. Taking like 15- 20 minutes from order to pick up. If there are 3-4 cars... waiting in line to order I skip. I dont want to spend 30 minutes in line to get my food. Read more

The drive thru computer goes down 30 mins. at a time regularly. The lobby doors are locked at 2:00 pm so the public is forced to... sit in drive thru line if you want to eat a Wendy's. We have waited 30 years or longer for a Wendy's here in the Southport area.This franchise is the most poorly managed Wendy's I have ever ate at. Now, to be fair, I have patronized this store 5 times andevery time there is a major problem. Wendy's has been for me the only fast food burger place I frequent and will go out of myway to do so. I am very disappointed that we have such a below average Wendy's here after waiting for all these years. Read more

I liked Wendy's in Southport until recently. I went there yesterday afternoon around 4 and sat in drive thru for about 15... minutes till I got to the speaker (there were 3 cars ahead of me). When I got there they said I'll be with you in a minute. The3 cars ahead of me were serviced and I still didn't get help. I finally said hello into the speaker and they said hold and therewas nobody in front of me (see pic). Finally she said what do you want? I ordered a medium fry and two large chocolate frosties.She said drive up to the 2nd window. A lady gave me the frosties and said we are waiting on your fries??? How when I was sittingat the speaker at least 5 minutes with nobody in front of me. This is the 2nd time in about 3 weeks that I went there and therewas a bald guy kinda young and a lady with tattoos at the window. The previous time I went the guy was dancing in the drive thruarea and hugging on the girl without a care in the world about how unprofessional he was looking. When I used to work nights andI would go thru Wendy's drive thru around 1030ish it was fast, hot, and good customer service. Read more

Thank you MRS JESSICA for the lovely voice over the speaker. There was a very long line and she stayed calm and took everyone?s... order with ease. The thanked us and told us to have a nice day. Which should be a mandatory statement whenever a customer isleaving your establishment. The food was good. The chicken sandwiches were not fresh (it was hard), but my son was so hungry heate his. I took mine back into the restaurant and they fixed it without hesitation and apologized. I disposed of it inside thelocation. I got my new fresh chicken sandwich and it was delicious. The lobby area was not open to the public, I saw they wereshort staffed and had help from another location. With the shortage they still did an excellent job and were all friendly whiledoing it. My one suggestion would be to ensure everyone handling food wear their gloves and change them out whenever you touchanything else other than food. Read more

I've never been to a Wendy's that has had more trouble getting an order correct. This location has consistently failed in the... staffing department and has made a mistake on our order every single time we've been here. That's not good coming from a newerlocation! Hoping they figure it out soon. :( Read more
